No time wasted with exposition for an hour.
Combat begins in BG3 in like 3 minutes after starting.

People who haven't even touched the game bashing it because they think it earns them codex cool kid points is hilarious
You mean the trivial one imp encounter that takes as long as a large encounter yet has no difficulty whatsoever? Then you have to spends quite a bit of time going through those trivial encounters until you're finally allowed out of the tutorial to play the game?
intro has multiple fights, you just went and looked up a video
stop being cringe

Still, they are not challenging.

You should read the second sentence before you make yourself look retarded. I've played through the game. There's nothing but trivial encounters and cutscene spam. It's a couple imp encounters in a row, then an couple option brain encounters where you were never in any danger, and then the final easy imp spam encounter where killing the big boy is completely optional. It takes 15 minutes or so just to get past that shit. Then you go gather the half-elf, the fagpire, wizard, the abomination, or the token negro with at most a series of a few more trivial encounters.

There are 3 imps in that encounter, and there's also an optional encounter before it.

It's not supposed to be. Though I imagine there are still plenty of newbies that manage to die in it.

Oh come on now. We did this already.
Now somebody says there are good fights in BG3, then you go after barrels, then Meredith manifests his suppressed desire to get laid by Astarion. Jeez guys, come up with something entertaining already.

There is one hard fight in the entire early access, and it's hard only because your characters are level restricted, lol

Then you just purposely lied to make the game look worse. Congrats on wanting to be called a deceitful liar instead of just retarded I guess?
BG3 is so great that people have to lie about it to try to make it look bad.

If it's easy on default difficulty, it's going to be just as easy on higher difficulties. You'll just have to use maybe one or two more potions to buff yourself or rest a little bit more.

"I bet difficulty in larian games works just like other games!"
confirmed for never playing DOS1 or 2 on tactician difficulty

I'm sure you can lie some more to try to get your way out of this one though

I don't have to lie to make the game look worse. The only thing it has going for it are some of the graphics. Most everything else is boring. Combat is slow and boring. Exploring the map is slow and boring. Only appeal I can see it having is for people who want an easy game so they can claim that they're gamers or whatever while pretty much just watching a movie like in a Bioware game.

I have no reason to believe anything you post because you already purposely lied to try to make the game look worse.
I get the feeling you're a german, am I correct?

I never played DOS1. But I played DOS2 on tactician. Only difference is that the enemies gain a level or two. Real boring stuff.

That's all you have going for you? Someone doesn't think the shitty games you like are any good so you just say they're lying?

If you didn't want to be called a liar, maybe you shouldn't lie so much.
I know you can't help it, it's genetic.

Hi, coming back after a 1 year hiatus to remind every WOTR faggot that you have no business evaluating good companion writing, notwithstanding the high probability of the writing being an absolute cringe-fest in this game as well.

Except that nobody likes WoTR due the companions, writing or anything like that. People like WoTR due the insane amount of options to build your char and power fantasy. According to Lacrymas, WoTR is the worst adventure path and I wish that OwlCAt will adapt rise of the runelords next. A AP all about fighting ancient tyrannical ultra specialized high level Wizard-kings.

But why people keep bringing WoTR in this thread? I get that BG3 lacks any content to discuss and looks more like someone modded 5E rules into DOS2 than a proper BG sequel(Black Geyser which isn't D&D looks more BGish than this game).

But a question. Is truth that Swen is considering changing to AEDU system from 4E? That he said that spell slots aren't intuitive and that he is considering AEDU( A = At-Will, E = Encounter, D = Daily, U = Utility)??? 4E is so awful that even 5E looks good in comparison. Is an attempt to bring the WoW decline which killed the ideas of game mechanics being in line with lore and transformed rpgs into mindless low lethality gear farming cooldown managing with no immersion into tabletop. And now PF2e is copying that decline.

Still writing like a fucking retard I see.
