My team has the sexiest and deadliest waifus you can recruit.
story fags
If you hate stories why not just go play action games?

y dont you go read a book?

Please. Authors are starving, yo. Put down the game and buy a book.
Bah, if they don't starve they won't write. Look at that Game of Thrones fatass.

If only there was some middle ground between starvation and GRRM. If only.

Anyway, back to the BG3 debate. I'm sure we can wring a few dozen more pages out of virtually zero information.

In previous posts, I hunted down what the average larian drooltard looks like. This time I stumbled upon yet another specimen but accidentally as I wasn't looking for it and it's still as hilarious as ever.

Yeah, dropping TB for action gaming makes sense to enlarge the audience and would fit the current one to a T.

Now consider that there are people here who advocate for D:OS2.

There will be co-op
I don't think that it is a problem. NWN was designed with multiplayer in mind.
Also i don't think that problems are: TB vs RTwP, different DnD edition, different style and overall difference from predecessors.
The problem is basically this
Larian-Studios-Launching-the-Game.jpg
Like I said, there have been RTwP games with co-op, but I don't think it would fit the contemporary AAA gaming scene. It would be seen as impeding the action.

Obviously there wouldn't be pause in the multiplayer mode since everyone is controlling their own character (or possibly 2).

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Alright Sherlock, keep writing pages of theories based on what you "read between the lines".
Btw my main point was that I didn't log in for a week and there were 100 pages more of NOTHING. There is zero new information, just people theorycrafting
There is, its tactical , turn based, 5E ogl, but it's not even larian doing it :

This actually looks pretty cool

Here's a double-edged sword: Larian is completely shit at worldbuilding. On the other hand, with Baldur's Gate III they have to work within an established universe, in a concrete region, at a specific time in that region's history. Do you think it will help, or hinder them?
Help.
Divinity 2's(not DOS2) expansion that was entirely in a city was extremely good. They need to limit their scope more.

If anyone thinks this game is going rtwp just listen to 1:25:00 of this Kotaku end of year discussion:

https://kotaku.com/every-game-kotaku-splitscreen-played-in-2018-part-one-1831231339

Everyone just dismisses Deadfire because it was rtwp because they played Divinity first. Btw they don’t even know the style is called rtwp, like what??? Isn’t Jason over 40 shouldn’t he have grown up playing the 90s games that inspired Pillars of Eternity?

Wtf are you on about? Better pawns have better quest and monster knowledge, which translates into them telling you an enemy's weakness or how to solve a quest. Better pawns are also better trained by their players to not act retarded and properly equipped with useful skill sets.
What does that have to do with what I posted?
oh wow, they're a walking strategy guide.
how is that being a faceless NPC?
Because they have no unique identity. Telling you information that can be looked up in a strategy guide is not an identity, that's on par with women who list traveling or music as a hobby.
Having a unique behaviour or move taught by their player/master is a pretty unique thing, retard.
It's not unique and they could easily be randomly generated. Storywise, they're definitely not unique: They're called pawns because they have no emotions or will of their own. They're fucking faceless NPCs by definition.
If you find them interesting, then, more power to you I guess. I thought it was dumb and a shallow replacement for well written characters in a game that had near-zero story to begin with.
There is lots of named characters too, like Mercedes.
And pawns were pretty much like BG1 companions and BG1 has best companions in IE games.

Rian Johnson turned to shit not only well established characters, but also those few interesting ones from the previous film

Baldur's Gate III IS the Expanded Universe
You think it implies some quality writing at least? I have to remind you that there was a heresy called Dark Alliance. Wikipedia through Feargus' mouth says :Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance a completely original experience that both console gamers and RPG fans will enjoy.
Do you think Swen likes popamolers less than Feargus does?

I'd like for there to be no true D&D combat and to instead challenge monsters and other hostile NPCs to feats of strength, oil pose downs, arm wrestling competitions and javelin throw. In fact call the game, "Baldur's Gate III: Muscle City Challenge - Enhanced Edition."

No more dead bandits.

Sounds gay.
