I sure hope it murders BG in quality of programming. Loading times for example. Or being able to minimize the game and actually return to it later.WotR is gonna murder your Larianfag game...
Not in sales, no. But in quality.

This might very well be the single worst post out of all the 22,261 you made on this god-forsaken forum.lol update your pc grandpa, kingmaker run fine lol
D:OS 2 without an SSD still runs better than Kingmaker with one.Yeah, sounds like someone is an SSDlet.
Second only to the inevitable sequel, BG4 - set Pathfinder World.
I went straight to Elex after playing Kingmaker and it feels like fucking magic. It takes less time to teleport from one town to another and load an entire new location than for Kingmaker to pull-up kingdom management menu. And I never thought a PB game will feel like a programming masterpiece compared to anything else.>muh loading timesI sure hope it murders BG in quality of programming. Loading times for example. The Larianfag cope.
UNITY is the answer.I don't understand that. D:OS 2 has bigger maps than Kingmaker. How could that be then.D:OS 2 on a shitty low-end pc from 6 years ago runs better than Kingmaker on an high-end pc.
That happens when you are not an amateur and you know what the fuck you are doing while designing and developing your product.I don't understand that. D:OS 2 has bigger maps than Kingmaker. PfK is still the better game, so...That happens when you are not an amateur and you know what the fuck you are doing while designing and developing your product.I don't understand that. Yes, but frequent loading, jumping screens takes away the immersion.PfK is still the better game, so...
I can live with that. An unpolished gem is a gem nonetheless.Yes, but frequent loading, jumping screens takes away the immersion.PfK is still the better game, so...
while designing
I blame that on the underlying system on which the games were built. Pathfinder will always be a hundred million times better than whatever shit Larian can came up with on their own.PfK is still the better game, so...That happens when you are not an amateur and you know what the fuck you are doing while designing and developing your product.I don't understand that. We all know you only played Underrail and Kingmaker in your entire life, there's no way you know anything about D:OS 2 gameplay.while designing
Should have used some of those design skills to design actually good gameplay.
You're right. D:OS2 was so bland and boring I forgot most of it. I did get to the point where you repair that ship and arrive to that city or whatever. We all know you only played Underrail and Kingmaker in your entire life, there's no way you know anything about D:OS 2 gameplay.
At least it's played straight. And you are exaggerating, PfK is nowhere near the verboseness (and pseudo-originality) of PoE.Everyone likes to bash Larian for their writing, but Owlcat didn't do anything better. Half the dialogues in Kingmaker are giant useless lore-dumps you can't possibly care about.
Why can't anyone cut lore-dumps into small parts you can specifically ask about, if you're really interested in them?Half the dialogues in Kingmaker are giant useless lore-dumps you can't possibly care about.

I swear to God, I'm sure Kingmaker is more verbose than PoE (at least that's how it felt to me), with the aggravation that usually you know when you are facing a useless piece of dialogue: every time that you upgrade one of your Kingdom stat, you have to sit through your advisor throwing at you a long exposition of a problem that, 99% of the times, won't affect your kingdom in any sensible way. After the third or fourth time, it gets so boring that you just skip everything and pick a decision at random (or just pick the decision with the best outcome, completely ignoring the "background" of the problem). At least it's played straight. Keep lore dumps to item descriptions and nothing more
