^Those are the cheapest Armor prices I've seen!

I know the stars for mission difficulty have always been a bit... questionable, but with the new enemies it got quite silly. Every contract involving 'Bandits' should be rated 1-2 stars lower than shown - or raise the raitings for the 'New enemies' contracts.

the end game crisis I just had was the most anticlimatic thing ever

literally like 2 sieges against a bunch of walking dead, a mission to clean out two necromancer hideouts and the whole thing just kind of fizzled out

Meh 10 necrosavants >>>> 5 Warriors 1 warlord 8 youngs. Orcs tend to die quick when you got a 2h hammer and 2 pole-hammers (Plus they can decide to run away with morale checks and what not). Seriously Orc's are weaker then goblins. And if you got some poison and cleavers, they just fold super fast.
Unholds are kind of easy if they are low on numbers like 3 and alone. You just use shield wall on one bro to aggro and use pikes to finish them. Trivial.

My favorite orc killer is dagger user - just puncture them with rondel/unique, they break or die quickly. For warlords add poison and he can solo them in a double round.

You need 2h weapons for 10+ warriors though, without AoE you run out of fatigue too quickly.

Dagger users are good for armor farming, so kinda meh against orc. 2 hand hammer is great because you stagger or daze your enemy on hit.
But overall I think cleavers are best weapon when fighting with living creatures. Bleed bleed bleed. It stacks.

i wonder does anyone prioritise HP when leveling?to be honest till now i was raising primary melee and range attack. resolve and fatigue. now when i reach 90 or 100 in fatigue with a heaviest armor and 60 resolve i invest in melee defence.

You can take HP and Nimble, wear cloth and tank better than full plate. Gonna get nerfed soon.

Maces! Maces I tell you! (those of two-handed variety) Just get ONE NORMAL hit on anything. Orc Chieftains? meh. Unholds? Fleeing. Undead? reduced to dust or stunned if necrosavant. Pesky high initiative lindwurms and shrats hitting two attacks? Not anymore if dazed. MACES!!!

Maces are nice. To bad like 80% of enemy immune to stuns. Fatigue damage is a fucking great. I've won some orc battles by just reducing their fatigue.
But come on now you can't beat cleavers. 5 wounds stack alone will give you 50 passive damage. And necrosawants can bleed too.

Stun? Yes. Daze? Nope! Nothing can counter the daze. That's why two-handed maces in particular are so good.
A lot of late game fights are about 12 v. 30+. So two handers with no aoe can be an issue. But if you know you have a warlord/knight/schratts, maxes can be clutch. I just prefer greatswords for 80% of the fights.

Nothing beats having an orc chieftain with a man splitter miss his turn because he doesnt have enough fatique (-35 % from daze, -50 % from fractured skull). The poor thing couldn't even howl. Cleavers are nice, sure, but how many hits do you need to apply those five stacks of bleedin? With maces its just one smasheroo and its over for most enemies. Also, crush injuries > slash injuries.

Bleeding from cleavers is pretty low damage, cleavers are good because decapitate can hit for 200+ with uniques, with great armor (ignore) damage.

Star rating is all over the shop, a better indicator is the amount of dollars the contract pays. If I have a two star mission in the early game but its paying a lot then I know its going to kick my ass. For example I had an early two star mission fighting schrats, seriously WTF?

Two bros with cleavers = 4 stacks of bleed. The more the merrier. Cleaver mastery - each bleed = 10 passive damage. And yeah decaps are awesome and I believe they got increased chance of morale checks. Behead warrior- suddenly orcs are not so tough and trying to run away ( I had a chieftan on the run btw)
