I genuinely haven't used any 2h weapons that didn't have 2 tile range yet.i find that having 2 bros with 2handed hammers and 2 bros with 1handed hammers makes easier to battle orc parties with 5-10 warriors, although i usually have 1-2 bro fatalities
Do bigger orcs ever become feasibly "easy"? Young orcs are no problem with my squad butThey just have so much hp, and lots of armor, and shields, I feel as though I'd need to fully invest in good flails to ignore shields or good axes to break through them on turn one.I just completely wiped on a group of 5 young and 5 warriors
How do you guys deal with their leap stuns? When I'm only facing young I feel as though I can afford to simply eat the stun as I'm not likely to take a whole lot of damage in a single turn, but I don't think I can be as careless with warriors.
What approximate melee skill should I be aiming for here? I have one brother in the 70s but everyone else in the mid 50s.Raise melee every level up so you can hit them anyway.
Ah, no one is higher than level 6.From level 9 on you shouldn't lose brothers

Yep, battle bros without shield will lay down on the field.

Totally true, forgot about it.The two guys with spears might have started the fight with shields, you won't see that at the victory screen if they got destroyed.
Anthony, you filthy beta-beggar.I got excited because in my Steam Library it said, "Battle Brothers [beta]" which made me think the beta had landed for everyone who bought the game, but alas, it seems not.
In this game there are wolves and other nasty things. And Chris Avellone too.

Sort of. Your guys will still be squishier than they would be with shields. You might get fucked in bad terrain vs. the right enemies, so you can't abandon good formations entirely and for those a mix of shields, 2H, and polearms is still more effective than everyone running with greatswords in my experience.does reach advantage make using a 2h objectively superior in the late game?
