While people have been busy going after whoever animated Mass Effect, there should be a fucking manhunt for whoever wrote that dialogue from Beamdog.

The year the Torment was raped. Twice.
The year of Torment?

For reference, I was for burning them down from the first moment I saw their output very early on with BG:EE before that shit with the "Expansion" even happened, that just expanded my seething fury into a burning hatred of said company:

My initial naivité and "what could go wrong, let's see what they put out there" attitude was immediately destroyed after they put of the first screenshots and results of their "work" as above:

Just even looking at the main menu work they presumably did tells you what kind of skill level these dumbfucks have, with the original one having a "rugged/dirty" and "Inka relic"-like look while they added sharpening, highlights and drop shadows all over theirs (while removing the drop shadows where they were needed) making it look amateurish and highlighting every bit of the menu making it look like a separate object instead of giving it a cohesive "stone plate" look as a whole, they also removed some of the empty spaces and "overcrowded" it with stuff making the upper and lower part asymmetric, they rounded off elements that were supposed to look like nuts and even made the text coloring look fucking worse, all of this makes it look a lot more artificial/plastic, tidy and kitschy:

Going through my PST archive.. some coolness from bygone days..

TNO is 10,000 years old and maxed out levels in all 4 major classes

Guido Henkel said:
"He has been around for 10,000 years. He's been a 25th level Mage, and 25th level Fighter, and 25th level Thief, and a 25th level Cleric," said Henkel.

Stages of location building and attention to details to make it more believable.
Take notice TTON developers, you don't have to add junk stuff just for the sake of adding it!

Here is what seems to be the Beamdog dev team at the SoD launch. The most noticeable difference (other than the presence of women) is the change from '90s to 2010s fashion.

A part of the BioWare team celebrating 'pink shirt day'

"We've so progressive that we'll get 11 of our 200+ employees to wear pink shirts while the rest are being forced to meet unrealistic deadlines"

I especially like the redhead in the middle trying to suck me into her world with that hypnotic gaze, crooked come-hither smile and big pants.

Fuck I hate everything.

Those pictures show how much our medium and society have declined. Thanks, diversity, social justice and feminism. Now we have shit games, written by hack writers trying to impose us their retarded agenda. And I hear people calling that shit progress. 20 years ago, games were better, fashion was better, colored hair stayed in anime and girls working in video games had actual talents beyond their place in a quota.

Leprechaun Annah suddenly makes more sense.

(P.S. I bet I could trigger people by calling that "free DLC")

Trials of the Luremaster was possibly the biggest free DLC Black Isle created. They had to do it because everyone was mad about Heart of Winter's length.

Come on, she did great a VO job (as did everybody else on PST).

Scots and Irish aren't interchangeable. :rpgcodex:
