Every year it's the same stale ass jokes.

"We just received leaked news about a sequel / new season / revival of [insert popular game / show / movie here]!"

April Fools! xd lol lmao rofl

I think the only one I've ever found somewhat clever was EGM's 'how to unlock Sonic in Super Smash Bros Melee' article complete with photoshopped screens, though admittedly I was a lot younger back then.

The gun industry did some pretty good ones this year.

Gunsmithing supply store Brownells also sent out a press release announcing their expansion into falconry.

Codex 2014 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy
The best April Fool's I saw this year actually comes from Iceland.

The shopping mall Kringlan put out large containers of those blue shoe covers at every entrance along with signs that read "CAUTION, FRESHLY LACQUERED MARBLE FLOOR".

Cue 90% of people in the place wearing blue shoe covers for no reason.

That may be because Hartman's death almost canned another character that bears many similarities to Blasto:

I watched this whole stupid video just because I wanted to see how ridiculous it would look to have a pony burst firing an SMG, or in power armor, or w/e, and the idiot who made this just runs around the temple with a spear. Now I'm being tempted to download it and skip to Navarro, because this incompetent fool had ONE FUCKING JOB and he failed it.

Good thing the show didn't launch before Phil was murdered or Zap would have vanished down the same hole as Troy McClure and Lionel Hutz.
And Fry would probably a have a different 1st name.
