Apparently the problem was that they didn't put any padding on the floor. There was just one or two layers of these foam cubes strewn right on top of a hard concrete floor, no padding underneath. Yet they presented it as if it was safe to jump right into the pit from great heights.

I smell some lawsuits incoming (I think she wasn't the only one who got hurt in that pit, but hers was the worst accident).

It's the 'rolling' technique developed by zoomers after the evolution of hypertapping. Competitive classic tetris matches are now unrecognizable, resembling modern tetris with players achieving higher scores than ever by playing with their feet. Jonas died and with his death so did classic tetris. Zoomers ruin everything.
