Don't forget the Imperium...
Too stupid to realize a mutually beneficial alliance with the Necrons to fight Chaos is probably in the best interests of both parties.
Warhammer can be dumb.
The issue it's that the necrons lords don't want peace overall, they fight everyone and themselves. Temporary alliances are case by case basis.

Gamefaqs' poll of the day

Poll of the Day

Do you miss games having large instruction manuals with the story and tons of detailed information?

Yes, those were somtimes the best part of the game43.4%3437
A little, it was nice to have a reference by my side41.09%3254
Not really, it's better to have all the instructions and lore in the game itself11.28%893
Not at all, I never read the manuals anyway3.16%250
I don't think I've ever bought a game that had a real instruction manual1.07%85

The userbase is older than other gaming sites, but I was expecting bigger numbers for the last two options anyway.

Gamefaqs is from a time where people still flocked to websites in hopes of building a community, much like the codex. Bear in mind that a lot of those might also come from people who got CIB snes games as kids and the like.

That and the Emprah basically being a creature of massive warp energy condensed into one vaguely human shaped entity, walling off the warp might not be the best for his future health. Not to mention the reaction most imperial humans have to blanks/pariahs, cutting off the warp would lead to an interesting situation of dumb savage mon'keigh violence

I used to post a lot on gamefaqs. On one of the boards I found a link to a dedicated forum where we shot the shit about a whole lot of things, but that started to die out so we moved again.

And that's how I found the Codex.

Oh, I totally know, that trailer was a blast from the past from a better era. But the Unreal video has a chick starring a skull logo quite similar to WH40k ones, and her enemies reminded me of Decepticons with an organic twist to them. As toys, they probably ARE offbrand figures.

It's Abuse with:

Smooth Scrolling
BEAUTIFUL Pixel artwork
Cyberpunk theme
A brutal intro
Nice soundtrack
Overall 80s vibe and feel

Wishlist and play the demo here.

I previously mentioned that it's a fairly ambitious little game, going to have flight sim and motorcycle stages as well. The 90s style run and gun platforming bits have secrets and your character has an inventory panel to manage all the weapons and shields you pickup which have various versions and qualities on top of that.
