Concentrated Nintendo fanbase autism strikes again, now if only they focused their efforts on consoles with more respectable libraries.
What consoles with more respectable libraries have as spotty emulation as the 64? In before listing some modern system whose emulators are still being worked out.

None, but running native binaries will always be the superior option to emulation, no matter how accurate it's got for certain consoles. Not to mention the implications stuff like this has for modding and such. I didn't mean to imply this was a wasted effort, for the same reason you stated, but the bottom line is that the N64 is just kinda meh as a console.

Saturn emulation for years was way worse than N64 back in the days. It's all right now, I think.

saturn, xbox, xbox 360. even ps2 could still use help.
n64 emulation has been fine and "preserved" for ages with angrylion and parallel rdp
shame only nintendo consoles have fanbases as autistic as they do considering the n64 has like a dozen games of note

Pretty much anything 2nd gen 3D onwards not called the PS2 has issues. I'm looking forward to a proper xbox 360 emulator. I would upgrade my PC for that a lot
