Sir Demis Hassabis, the computer scientist and AI researcher who founded DeepMind, has worked with Peter Molyneux as a programmer on Syndicate and Theme Park and lead AI programmer on Black & White.


He later founded Elixir Studios, which developed Republic: The Revolution (2003) and Evil Genius (2004). All of them purely PC games.


He's won this year's Nobel Prize in Chemisry for his role in establishing DeepMind, an AI tool that has revolutionized prediction of protein structure.
