Which one of you is milesforman?

If a person were to actually think that way, then evolution has failed.

Each Elder Scrolls game has been better than the last. The end of each chapter leaves me gasping for air, clawing at the screen, begging my computer for more, to which it does not reply! It leaves terrible marks on the monitor, which is why I wear the mittens.

This person has never been laid. Ever. And probably never will.

I'm not even going to touch that. My days of battling fledlings from the intardnet are mostly over.

Yeah. It was easier in the old days when nobody knew about Last Measure and you could totally wreck a whole forum for a day with well placed links.

They are allowing linking to NMA?? I thought NMA was banned from the forums. Or am I confusing something else?

NMA was never blacklisted, the devs just stopped posting there. The same went on at DAC until Project Lead Antonio Juarez made a token appearance a month or two ago.

This is the best news I've heard in an otherwise miserable week for me. I could kiss you guys.

Don't mind if I do.

The spirit of Fallout is simple: Humanity is dark, flawed, strange, amazing, and most of all we never give up. Fallout is about embracing everything about humanity light and dark, while still being humble enough to poke fun at it's self. It's about the American dream, starting with less than nothing, and being able to achieve anything you want. It's about hope, even when there's no reason for it. Fallout is more than mutants and [hooker]s and drugs and the debate on if you should add in kids and the moment you forget that, you've failed in making Fallout 3.

Was it someone from the codex who posted that? I think it captures the essence of that 'other' thing that makes Fallout what it is, apart from just the sex and drugs and gore.

My guess is that now that we are the 'visitors', we might have a tough fight against the TES trolls. Lots will begin to appear, eventually. When they get tired of all our ranting over there, and if we drive everyone else out of the that board, they will come. And what fun it will be.

As soon as the first screenshots are released the official Fallout Forums will swarm with threads like - "XBOX ROOKZ!!!", "THIZ GAMEZ LOOKS GRAET!!" "OBLIVION RULEZ!! "I'M GONNA BYU A HOKKER AND DO DRUGZ LOLZ!!!" "HALP ME DESIDE WHAT CARCHTER I'M GONNA MAKE!!!" "MOMMA SOLD MY BRAIN TO AN EAST INDIAN IMMIGRANT FOR A SINGLE DOSE OF PCP, AND A MONKEY JUST BEAT ME AT LIFE. HALP!!!" - drowning the "old skool"-people by numbers and by stupidity. This time really is now.

Once screenshots, game info, et cetera gets out, Beth really will have opened up the gates to Oblivion with their forum.

or he is 10 years old, which would explain both what he said and what you said..
When he sais "Each Elder Scrolls game has been better than the last" he probably means that oblivion was better than morrowind, and that´s all there is to it..

No, it's about a dark, hopeless and desolate wasteland.
Not about drugs&whores, but not about that stuff. That's over-analysing.
