Kill all straight white cismen.

 For fuck's sake Roguey.

At least you agree with me that the underrated 2k Marin are the superior studio, though.

I of course am glad they stopped pandering to the male gaze. Kill all straight white cismen.

They need to stop making action games and not have a male white protagonist to stop pandering to the male white men. And what about the slut empowered feminists? How to make a slut character that not panders to the male gaze?

A lot of women have no problem playing male characters you know.

A slut doesn't necessarily dress provocatively nor is someone dressed that way necessarily a slut.

Yet a lot of feminists finds the male only option problematic. And we are talking about a minority here. If Irrational wants to stop pandering to the male demographic(the majority) they would make shittybook games for women...

Has this account been gifted to Lesi?

Anyway, if this girl is supposed to be a child, the representation was inappropriate. I guess that the child molesters will be much happier with the new girl, too.

I'm sure a lot of them do want more diversity when it comes to protags. That would be nice. But that doesn't mean the elimination of games where you can only play a white man or not having a white man as an option.

And yes I'm still LARPing as her. It's fun.

Yeah, the boobs clashed with the face and tone massively. That said I liked the dress a lot and the new outfit looks bland. I wish they had just cut down on the cleavage but kept the dress.

An EXCLUSIVE World-First BioShock Infinite Review Based Entirely On The Cover Art
bioshockinfinite.jpg

This is the cover art for BioShock Infinite:
bioshock.jpg
BioShock Infinite is really weird. There's no movement at all. You pretty much just stand around and contemplate your rugged Nathan Drake-ish good looks. Limited mobility in a shooter isn't so bad as long as the gunplay makes up for it. It doesn't. Your gun (you only get one weapon, though it's admittedly a really sweet looking shotgun) is resting over your shoulder. The crosshair isn't even on your screen, it's constantly off to your left and upside down. Thankfully your finger is always on the trigger so you can shoot very quickly. You just can't see where your bullets are going. Also, there are no enemies. There is, however, some sort of explosion of sparks that's constantly going off a few feet in front of your knees and to the left. It might be something you shot but you'll never know. Sometimes you can see a part of a blimp. I thought the burning American flag was good symbolism for conflicting political factions in America. 8/10

Gameplay from the VGA 2012: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-12-08-new-bioshock-infinite-gameplay-footage-emerges

Okay, we got it Irrational. You can build breathtaking worlds and have world-class artists. But please stop with this consolitis shooting bullshit, it just looks painful to watch. At least the PC version will allow you to adjust the FoV. Not that I think that's gonna help much. The game looks genuinely nobel, but so did Dishonored. Like Dishonored, I get the feeling it will be a good game that could, however, have been turned into an excellent one with better hardware and more RAM.

Which reminds me that pushing Thief 4 into the next-gen console cycle was a darn smart thing to do.

That new gameplay footage is...

What the fuck?

What is with Elizabeth trying to kill the player and then she suddenly decides "oh he's okay"? Why does she keep yelling to say she's "getting dressed" to someone but she is obviously talking very, very loudly to some intruder? Why is her character animation so awkwardly stiff? Why does she turn her back on a strange man that burst into her house? Why is her head 3x the size it should be relative to her body?

Also,

EDIT: I had more questions but for some reason they aren't showing up. :(

More importantly, when are you going to continue your series on how Bioshock 2 is better than the first game? ;)

Are Bioshock 1 & 2 worth playing?
Maybe not.

Do you remember how when you were a small child, you played these games which had objectives like "Collect 5 Gold Coins, 4 Silver Coins, 10 Mushrooms,.etc"? That's sort of the thing you can expect from BioShock. BioShock would have actually made a great children's game (I am not even trying to be edgy), if it had been made with an E rating in mind.

Its challenges and problems are very kiddy oriented; they involve getting a child's eye to spark as he finds that gold plating on the object for which he has been searching through several rooms. If you are an adult who is still in touch with his inner child, definitely go for it.

Playing the game really did remind me of Carmen Sandiego, Gizmos and Gadgets, and other educational games for children back in 1995.

Can't say anything about 2 as I have not played it, but another SS2 replay would be a far superior use of your time than attempting to finish BioShock 1. It has some nice visuals, but the gameplay and story are shit. Inb4 DraQ ranting about relativistic speeds of ejected space station pods.

I kinda liked Bioshock2. It's not a hard game, but it's pretty cool. You get lots of powers and the weapons are better and the game has no qualms about charging you with a lot of guys at the same time. It's simple mindless fun, essentially.

Also, is that a 2 weapon limit I see in the preview video?

I just can't take the setting seriously, sure, sometimes strange and silly can work, even for a serious story. But seeing giant robots, and the guys with giant trumpets for ears I just can't see it working. What is this game even supposed to be? Bioshock was simple, an objectivist utopia gone wrong under the sea. Infinite is Ico as an FPS on a floating city, and something about patriotism and also steampunk. What?

Well, duh. Plot in SS2 sucked. It was the atmosphere that made this title.

What? Do you have a source?

Source? That's like an open secret, otherwise they should have already announced it by now.

Same thing for Doom 4 and Dragon Age 3 btw. All pushed into Next-Gen.
