Ah, my bad. I saw the kotaku logo and just assumed such rampant corporate shilling wouldn't be out of place.

Yeah didn't understand the kotaku thing, might've tried implicating them because Levine is throwing a shitfit over people spoiling his brilliant work.

Kotaku badge was just more fucking around. There was a different person actually running the stream who was dicking with putting things up. Like Elizabeth freaking out about a bee turned into NOT THE BEES, etc.

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Serpent in the Staglands Dead State Divinity: Original Sin Project: Eternity Torment: Tides of Numenera Wasteland 2 Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Kingmaker Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
Oh please. People will buy this in droves.

Enough to recoup 200 million dollars? That's the budget of SWTOR! It would need to sell like 7-8 million copies if that figure is true.

My God, this thing have to sell at least 3,3 million copies to break even, if the publisher could get the whole $60,00 from each copy.

Which they don't, of course.

But yeah, prepare for DLC whoring to up that profit margin.

Publisher gets back some $40-45 a copy. That's about 5 million sales to break even. I can see that, but it's certainly not a good rate of return unless they get much, much more sales than I think they will.

This is one of the most pretentious game endings I've ever had the misfortune to witness. Can we go back in time and drown Levine?
Please don't. Or we will have to suffer from Bioshock Infinite infinite.

They already have a season pass planned. You could tell they're desperate to move it given the number of 2K promotions for preordering (including previous bioshocks, X-Com, $20 credit, etc.) Sad that $200 million goes into making shit like this -- Fargo could make forty good games with that.

I don't think anyone could make forty good games on any budget. But Fargo could probably make better ones than Bioshock Infinite.

How is the game length-wise? Whats our investment-to-playtime ratio nowadays, 20 million dollars per hour? 50 million per hour? It's disgusting to think about.

EDIT: Apparently around the 5-6 hour mark. So we're looking at ~35 million dollars per hour of playtime. Including non-interactive cutscenes and all of that bullshit. Say what you want about TOR but at least Bioware managed a lot more content for those who love the MMO treadmills.
