Design your own NPC for €7 only​

Ho there, adventurers!​

To help achieving the stretch goals, we've added an amazing group of add-ons. You can now design your own Spirit NPC for only €7 (less than $7.50 USD) and we'll include it in the Black Geyser expansion pack!

Your name/nickname (if you prefer) will also be added to the game credits as a Haunted Area NPC Designer!

You can specify the NPC's name, race, class, attributes, stats, generic weapon & armor, a one-liner dialogue of your choice and much more. Higher versions of the add-on will also allow you to submit a short voice-over or sound file for the NPC, or a real dialogue with player reply options as well!

This is the first time in videogame history when backers can design digital content for a game real-time during its crowdfunding campaign and their activity in the game map can be tracked through a public Real-Time Tracker website (anonymously, of course).

Kingmaker's worst quest line (imo) was added in by a backer.

romances are player-initiated, so there's nothing to complain from people who don't care about this.

don't necessarily disagree, but i don't expect it to be as intrusive as in PoE. I think their entire KS campaign is well thought out and they're trying their best to generate as much money as possible allowing them to hopefully also revisit any apply some fixes to the main game. The stretch goals and KS add-ons i'm not much interested in but if it helps the budget for a more quality DLC then i'm all for it.

Only two days left!​

Kickstarters can do wonders in the last two days, so if you're interested in the next stretch goal but worried it's unreachable, don't be afraid to increase your pledge (or back the campaign if you haven't yet) - many others will do it too, making the next stretch goals absolutely realistic!
For us, the current Kickstarter is more than just offering a DLC pre-order with some rewards. It's a message from the community that you believe in our efforts and vision. Thank you very much! Let's keep the classic-style cRPG genre alive together.
We may not be the biggest or strongest indie studio dealing with isometric RPGs at the moment, but one thing is sure: our heart is full of love and passion for role-playing games. While our resources have been very limited for most of the time, we're confident this will improve with time - Black Geyser can get more refined and expanded, and new titles can appear on the horizon from us.
Your contribution to the current project also supports our future work, new ideas & concepts and (hopefully!) brand-new games (and not just retro ones!) in the upcoming years.
The fact we're committed to classic-style doesn't mean we would develop purely isometric RPGs with old-school character inventories etc. - classic means "hand-made", "high quality", "in-depth" for us, that is, a much wider concept than "retro" and "old-school". Who knows, one day we might fulfill even the darkest (but legit) dreams of codex folks as well.

We won't launch a Kickstarter again for some time, so if you see potential in our vision, consider increasing your pledge if you can. Some options to consider:

The hardcover book includes the player's handbook, a monster manual and an artbook as well. If you don't have the Collector's Edition yet, we recommend upgrading your pledge to the Collector's Edition reward tier (€250), because the add-on requires a physical base tier, and thus it is more suitable to be a gift to someone or as an additional collector's copy for yourself.
