That happened like... seven years before I got there, if this thread is to be believed. I started working for GrapeOcean just before the Kickstarter began, in April 2018. The name was set by then.

I actually don't know.

What I did:

• Wrote the main plot, some side quests, and everything in the beta
• Directed the rest of the writing and most of the voice acting
• Designed a lot of small features of the game (the Rillow race, many spells, most of the crafting recipes, etc.)
• Recorded, edited and voiced over videos
• Created and moderated the Discord server and forums
• Lots of editing of text, both in-game and for PR purposes

What I didn't do:

• Actually ever play the game from start to finish

As to DLCs, I believe that the official position is that yes, they're planned (specifically content expansions). But I can't say anything else about that.

I didn't write the game with an agenda other than to just write an RPG that doesn't suck. I have been told, however, that living in Portland, Oregon means that I am automatically a SJW, so we'll see.

Hello Codex. Just throwing it out there: I'm the lead writer/narrative designer for Black Geyser, I ran the Discord, and I have enjoyed reading this thread for a few years. I really jived with the various gifs and images in relation to the game (the elephant porn in particular after I designed the Rillow), so thanks for that.

I finished working for GrapeOcean a few days ago. I'd say "AMA" but I'm still under NDA.

Can you explain wtf is the greed system and how it works in game?
