Guys, Mico Selva is one ruthless son-of-a-bitch. Motherfucker was maiming and fouling my guys to hell in Turn 15-16 when everything was soundly decided and there wasn't even a remote chance of anything but the inevitable outcome.
I have areally good explanation for fouling in Turn #15. Ok, maybe not that good.
My clock control skills have failed me yet again - I thought I had more time and wanted to attempt a turnover touchdown on Grunker. But first I had to get rid of the last ghoul, as he was too fast for my players to stop (not even mentioning Dodge).
Only after running all the way with a skeleton on my Turn #16 (with two GFIs) I understood I can't do jack shit in this game anymore. Not as epic fail as forgetting to score against Wood Elves, but still.
Uh, Grunker, sorry about that -MA on the A ghoul. Look on the bright side - at least the Werewolf regenerated.
Also, remind me which player got the broken neck?
The werewolf did not regenerate... Or, it did. THE FIRST TIME
It's out for the next game. But fuck it. At least I'll have Rex. I think my qualification chances for the play-offs went bye-bye with this match though.
The broken neck? A 0SPP Flesh Golem. Sacked the fucker and replaced him instantly. When you're a team of old financial sinners, you've the cash to replace failures
Same here. We gave a gift to hoverdog by drawing. Let's hope that UP kicks his rotting potato ass, then we might still have a shot.

This might not be very accurate, as I'm writing from memory:
Dead Money (Nec) vs Legends Outworn (Khe)
A lot of dead flesh has entered the pitch on this sunny day, but not that much of it was there to stay until the end.
Dead money is hindered with the absence of the star werewolf, Rex W. Tillerson, while Legends Outworn are stronger than ever, with the newly leveled up Sylvester Stallone sporting Mighty Blow for audience's pleasure.
1st half
Grunker wins the toss and chooses to receive, placing three zombies on the LoS and all his valuable players just outside the blitz range range of my Tomb Guardians. I break away with my tradition of putting on Skeletons on the LoS and place two Tomb Guardians there (Mistake #1). They of course get tied up right from the start.
The rest of my players creates a deep defence line, ready to shift towards either side of the pitch if necessary. Grunker compliments it as a good tactic, and I agree, but of course my noobish attitude wins at one moment and all goes to hell. First I make a misclick (Mistake #2) that ends up with two of my players on the right wing (a TG and a Blitz-Ra) get tied up by a single Wight, next later I forget to screen my deep defense TGs (Mistake #3) and some zombies mark them out of the game. Finally I use up my last resort defence (the two Thro-Ras) as blocking assists (Mistake #4), meaning I'm left with no players to defend the endzone. Grunker uses this mistake like the ruthless veteran he is and soon runs a ghoul past my helpless undead.
Dead Money 1:0 Legends Outworn
I'm left with four turns to equalize, which is around the minimum my Khemri need to even reach the opposing endzone, not even mentioning carrying the ball there. After successfully picking up the ball (which was kicked very deep into my half), I decide for a screened rush on the left wing and it goes pretty well up until my Turn #7, when I forget to count the distance (Mistake #5) and my Thro-Ra ends the turn 9 squares from the endzone, so one square too many for a two-GFIs attempt at scoring.
I do have a skeleton further down the pitch, but Grunker's ghoul knocks it down, reducing his range by 3 - no go too. So, on my final turn I retreat Clint Eastwood the Thro-Ra and attempt a completion. The receiver Skeleton manages to catch the ball and Clint gets 1 SPP. Awesome.
2nd half
Dead Money got two players injured in the first half, while three of Legends were KOd. All of them get up, leaving me at a 13 to 10 numerical advantage. Grunker risks another deep kick, but as his kicker is injured, this time the ball decides to leave the pitch. I give it to Dolph Lundgren, my TG with Block and start a slow ascend on the left side of the pitch. Grunker makes a defensive screen, while moving Bennie Ebbers the Werewolf into my half, for a TD threat and possible rear cage harassment. I can't have that, so I send a Skeleton and a Blitz-Ra to take care of him. My initial plan is to push the dog-faced lightning to the sideline on the first turn and possibly crowd-surf it on the second. 2D block comes out with Push/Both Down. After some hesitation I choose the latter. Werewolf is knocked down and gets a MNG injury, with Regeneration failing as an added insult. Could have been worse, as the same werewolf was injured in the first half too, getting a -MA injury, but then managed to shake it off.
With no werewolfs on the pitch I am much more confident in hugging the sideline, so I do just that. The ascend is slow, but constant with Dead Money players making an occasional threat, but having really shitty armor rolls soon finding themselves too outnumbered to do anything (Blodger Wight injuring himself on a failed dodge really nails it). I'm have the opprtunity to score early and try a turnover TD but am too scared of the remaining ghoul outrunning my players and decide to foul it off the pitch first (Mistake #6). I finally score on Turn #15 (my first Tomb Guardian touchdown ever), leaving Grunker enough time to get a completion with his remaining Wight to his remaining Flesh Golem. Besides that, he only has three zombies on the pitch.
Score and summary:
Dead Money 1:1 Legends Outworn
Grunker is a better player than me, but I had a fuckload of luck in this match (especially on armor/injury rolls) and I think I could have won if not for the mistakes mentioned above. As I would like to see his team reach the playoffs more than mine, I'm not very butthurt about it. One day, I'll learn - or die trying (of old age, probably). Anyway, it was a really entertaining match - though not so much for Grunker probably - and I hope for more like this to come.
P.S. Clint Eastwood managed to get a casualty to his completion and leveled up a double, meaning he's now a blodger.
