It's official, nuffle hates me this season. I guess he has a special place in his heart for the champ. :rpgcodex:

Failed GFI on touchdown , not mentioning even more injured players awaiting deletion.:rpgcodex:

When i played with norse in public league i had less injured with norse and av 7 than on orks with av 9 :rpgcodex:

Grunker vs. Exmit finished. This, dear sirs and trannies, is one to watch! It is arguably the most random/insane game of Blood Bowl I've ever played. Nuffle threw random shit in each turn - sometimes more times each turn. GFIs fail, small blocks have big consequences, orcs dodge like bosses, and players get knocked out left and right.

At one point both players agree that Grunker has had the most shitty luck ever. At the end of the 2nd half, not even Grunker's shitty luck can match that of Exmit's.

The replay is HERE

No write-up on this one... Too much insane shit I can't remember. For those just looking for a quick spoiler:

Dead Money - Kodex Allstars 1-0.

In other news, my star werewolf, Rex, is out next match, and one of my zombies got MVP THE THIRD TIME IN A ROW :rage:

Considering how well you rolled in the first couple of games and the last season, I very much doubt that Nuffle is against you.

Funny how much you're complaining about injuries with an AV 9 team. Maybe you should have gone with Goblins rather than another easy team. :smug:

Rage against Exmit in this season is for pussies. Considering the slaughter of his team he's managed to do pretty well.

At certain points he outplayed me completely with his 960TV team (my team was 1610).

He's a good coach, and it's a disgrace to see fine gentlemen of the Codex whine because someone takes an easy team in Blood Bowl.

All is fair in love and Blood Bowl - whining about your opponents playing dwarves is no better than whining over bad rolls. It should be beneath you, ladies.

Last season is last season.

Yep, AV 9 technicaly should have the lowest ammount of injuries.

There are no easy teams.

(People playing with MB+Claw Chaos should be the last to be smug about people playing easy teams, by the way. Your game amounts to double-clicking on stuff and watching it die.)

In my mind, everyone should just shut the fuck up an stop whining. But it's a farce to see people playing some of the best teams in Blood Bowl (mid-high TV Chaos, for instance) whining about people playing OP-teams.

The Decliners vs. Hottentot finished.

In short - the decline of dodging rolls was strong. :incline:
Priestly inclined some amazons with his tentacles :mhd:
0spp rotter gets the mvp :decline:
A very one-sided game.

The only one whining here is Exmit. I'm happy just to rub it in ;)

Glad to see some more results rolling in. Always good to see more blood being spilt.

This, dear Sirs, was a complete gang rape. And tentacle rape (The Decliners are Nurgle, my team are the Amazons). I could do nothing in this match. I made some quite stupid mistakes, starting with a misclick in turn 1 (I think) which lead to a dodge I didn't want to make, and at the end of the 1st half, when I was full with RAEG, I decided the only way to go is to foul (I really had no other options; should've stayed put). So instead of turning my brain on I fouled with my blitzer who was sent off and I started playing the 2nd half fielding 7 players against 11. Also had some bad luck there, no important dodge succeeded, no pass succeeded, picking up the ball failed, tentacles held me in my place a few times.

Another thing is that I still have no idea how to play the Amazons (I guess I wouldn't have any idea to play another team too, but that's a different issue). St 3? No bashing against stronger teams (such as The Decliners or the reptiles). Ag 3? Passing is very risky. Mv 6? Running is not really an option. So do I understand it properly that an Amazon player should do all of these three things: bash, pass and run, but in moderation, and rely on these dodge rolls and block rolls? I don't like it too much, but maybe I'm missing something.

Also, today I learned about a nice skill called Disturbing Presence and that you shouldn't really pass the ball if your player is covered in three zones of it (and actually most of the field is inside at least one such a zone). But this was when the match was already practically finished.

That's my after match report.

Amazons got reroll dodge for free so by that you can go and dodge.

You mean the Dodge skill? It's once per turn only. Well, I guess we'll see next week :D

Yes , and i don't remember if you 2nd try is then on normal reroll or not , you can try offline , because if it is , then you can have 2 rerolls in a turn.

Just to clear this up for those of you who were ruminating about Dodge: It is once per turn, per player with the Dodge skill. So every player with Dodge gets a free reroll of a failed dodge once per turn.

If you make a dodge, fail it and then succeed with your Dodge reroll, then make *another* dodge, you can use a team reroll if you fail it.

Off to watch some of your epic (I'm sure) replays!

Thanks, Moss. I understood "the player may only re-roll one Dodge roll per turn" as "the human player (...)".

Ah! I understand the confusion. But yes, once per turn for each of your Amazonians. :D

A note: watch out for players with Tackle! If you try to dodge away from *them*, they negate your free Dodge reroll.

Just finished the Orcs vs Necro replay - good stuff! Could've gone either way. Some really inopportune Go For It fails that match!

EDIT: Exmit's season is like a Public Service Announcement for why you always buy an apothecary. Stay in school, kids, and always hire an apoth! :D

True, the amount of failed GFIs in that match was rather funny. All in all, Exmit earned a draw, but Nuffle decided he's not getting it. Just like that. The worst thing was the -1MV injury on the AG4 Blitzer, though.
