You should try them under LRB4 rules. Back then, match winnings were tied to your Fan Factor, so teams had to start with a FF of at least 7 or be unable ro recruit replacements. 2 blitzers/9 Linos/2 rr/9FF and 11 linos/3 rr/8FF starting lineups were the norm back then.

After months of playing mostly as Ogres, I've decided to move on and have chosen the infnitely more reliable Khemri for the league's purposes (well, mostly because Ogres and Lizardmen are already taken). Farewell, Bonehad, You shall not be missed.

Sorry, I think you're screwed. Some shady company was offering very cheap keys for the original edition of the game but I think Cyanide banned these keys or something; anyway, if there's a GrEaT DeAl regarding keys for an online game, it's usually risky to buy them.

BUT, if you're in the land of potato, I'm pretty sure I saw BB:LE in Empiks for 80 zl, which is less than 20 Euros. You get the shitty Polish edition which you can somehow (I don't know how, but people have done it) convert to English. But even without converting you can play online with guys having other language versions.

(This must've been some kind of a special deal since it's 96 zl oficially on Empik's page, but maybe some Empiks still have the deal?)

You can find it online as low as 73 PLN + shipment, which is a reasonable deal, although the average price seems to be going up rather than down - very weird for a video game.

Converting Polish version to English is actually very easy, it only requires a "demo" of English version and proficiency with using CTRL-C and CTRL-V key combos.

Ok thanks, I guess I'll check in Empik since I have one in my city. 80 PLN will be cheaper than 73 + shipping. Still I'd say it's quite a lot for old (basically it is the same game as original) not AAA game like this. I was expecting half of that on allegro (somehow not even one was there, weird).

Yeah, yeah I know what you are getting at. FYI I never even considered getting one of these "cd key in 5 minutes" offers, even if they were legitimate I'm still missing out on box and dvd. Certainly more convenient than downloading whole game when you want to install it (insert typical steam sucks rant).

I'm not a big fan of Steam, but know that you can backup your game files so that you don't need to download the game again before reinstalling.

If you really, really, REALLY can't get a 20th coach I can resinstall cyanides client on an old laptop specifically designed to survive the metric shitton of trojans and virii I'll get when I turn off my firewall to let the blasted game through. Expect me to complain loudly about the shittastic camera, UI and network code every step of the way though. I mean, seriously, fumbbl has supported resuming matches where one person got disconnected since 2003. How you can have a multiplayer turn-based game without a reload function in 2011 just boggles the mind.
