You have just contradicted every other dwarf hater in this thread.

That's okay, I don't care about them. Dwarves at least have clearly defined weaknesses, that is slow movement across the board and lots of low AG players and no high strength players, also they have next to no options if somebody outfights them.

Orcs? Just like Chaos but cheaper everything, higher armor and instant access to skills.

I'm confused. Didn't Ulminati also pick Orcs before he caught a virus?

He was just getting his ass handed hence the 'firewall' problems.

Have we even decided how we're splitting the divisions yet?

And isn't a cup single match elimination?

also, on topic, steam is having a 75% sale for BB LE. price is currently at 10 dolla.

get it, ya gitz
THANKS! I mean steam still sucks but at least it (though quite frankly laziness is bigger contributor here) saved me 10 euro and I don't have to feel bad about paying too much for what it's worth.

Now I need to figure out how to pay for it (yeah never bought anything there yet, only have it because Shogun 2 and Civ V require damned thing) and I'll be ready to roll. Probably will take Chaos. I hope registration will still be open tomorrow (or rather today, it's fucking late here).

A cup is what we did last season - everyone plays each other then the top teams go off to the play off.

At least I think that's it.

Don't tell me I have to recreate?

:|

EDIT: Actually a cup can't be single match elimination because there are twenty teams and the cyanide client isn't smart enough for that.

EDIT2: Also there is a very good chance that I will be separating the Eurofags from the Kwas division wise due to the number of games being played. Having to commit to 9 games each will be easier if you don't have to schedule a game at 4am. So for the people that have new teams can I suggest maybe playing a couple of games with each other or in the open league to get a couple of skills AND to test out that you can actually play online. Any farmed teams however will not be accepted. You have been warned...

What TV would be reasonable and not treated as farming? 1100? 1200? 1300?

If anyone is suicidal enough willing to play against my Khemri, PM me here, or on Steam. I should be available today afternoon/evening (GMT +1), so in about 11-12 hours. I promise no fouling. I'll leave that for the league. :smug:

Have you looked into using a private league at all? I think it was introduced in the last patch or so. And I think you can run more flexible tournaments and stuff through Blood Bowl Manager.

I think my Norse team is almost 1500 TV. Being Norse though that wont last long. The league itself accepts up to TV2000 I think.

Does farming mean playing fake matches?

So exactly when is this going to start? There's a huge difference in playing Vampires without block or with blodge...

So who else has a fresh team?

is there still an opening? I hesitated at first, but with BBLE steam sale, and having just the right amount of % on paypal - I'm good to go!
If there's a place for me, I'd play Nurglites or Norsemen, depending on how many of those are already in-game.

I think there still is one slot free (Ulminati only volunteered to sacrifice himself and take it, if no one else appears), so hurry up, buy and apply!

So far, there are two Norse teams (one carry-over, one rookie) and one Nurgle (rookie).

I was downloading it for half a day already and only got 20% done. WTF is this shit. Even poorly seeded torrents are faster than this. I have crappy connection but it shouldn't take longer than hour and some. Well have fun. I'll practice a bit in multi and will sign up for next league.

A long time ago said:
In the mean time you can join the steam group "codex blood league" by doing a group search in steam with the search "codex blood bowl" and select groups. That way you can realtime chat with your opponent to setup the match.

Also you may want to test that you can actually play online - there are ports that need to be opened:

http://www.cyanide-studio.com/forumBB/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=9543#p133537

Also sometimes in game the camera locks up and scrolls to one side of the screen (seems to happen a lot when you chat to opponent), to fix this press 'C' to change the camera angle.

edit:
I don't want to speak for Mantiis, but I think You can both apply for the league. The worst that happens is one of You will join the reserve list. With over 20 people many things can happen - last time one of the players dropped out after the first match.

At this point I'd like to reiterate my past offer to give pointers to new coaches. I've been playing the board game on and off since 1998 (and on fumbbl since 2003), so I can probably give you some tips against problemetic matchups.

downloaded about 50%, then it lost connection, started to download again from the beginning at 4 kb/s, ragequit, started steam again, it told me I've connected from a different computer ( :retarded: ), entered the code and now it's updating blood bowl, starting from those 50% downloaded :retarded:

seriously, what. the. fuck.
