Can easily end up with a gimped, useless character.

Tim seems to take a more balanced view of "combining" crpg and ttrpg.
Some people will have more fun playing tabletop, others crpgs.
He also advocates using computers and AI to keep track of all the numbers and things like the player perks, advantages and disadvantages, in order to simplify things and make it easier for the DM to direct the flow of the game.
