Gaming addictions were cooler in any period before the 2020s. What's there to even be addicted over? Gacha games? Fortnite well past its prime?

What are the kids even playing now that would fall under "addicted?"

Three videos uselessly linked here and no replies, nobody cares faggot, stop reposting this fat fuck. Close the thread, move it to one of your little faggy darkroom hidden forum sections. You know what people care about? Niggers and faggots in Kingdom Come 2.

It's me,
Tim

I get really upset if I think you're having me do your job and the number one example of that is if you ask me what the game's demographic is. You're asking me to do your job. I don't know, I don't know what the demographics are period. You should be able to look at the game and know what the demographic is, that's your job.

The Outer Worlds was made for Tim and Leonard and Feargus, not for a particular consumer demographic. Given its success, looks like the marketing department did its job. :)

I talk about the differences in adapting tabletop RPGs into videos games versus adapting a non-game IP into a video game.

Tim, Leonard and Jason nailed it with Temple of Elemental Evil (one of the most faithful 3.5 D&D adaptations of the same campaign created by Gygax) and VTMB (while not a one hundred percent faithful adaptation in terms of combat, disciplines and abilities, it was very faithful to the setting and its lore).

When we were making Vampire the Masquerade there was an expectation of what vampires would look like and how they'd act. Nobody wanted brightly colored vampires, nobody wanted silly joking vampires, there was a certain gravitas to Bloodlines.

Uh, what? The vampires were brightly colored and they were silly and joking, there was no gravitas. All this time I thought it was intentional grand guignol, and now 20 years later Tim here says "Actually, we were trying to be serious" like

At this point I've played enough games that I can only truly get enthused about things that very specifically appeal to me, and no one's really making those, contrary to Tim's claim that good games are totally out there if you just look hard enough :M
