Well whoever was concerned about muh level scaling...

I'm probably about to abandon my netrunner playthrough or at least suspend it. It's great for power fantasy but unless I get ambushed which is usually my own fault if it happens, nothing can get anywhere near me, much less touch me.

Definitely at the hack and wipe out buildings from across the street, or decide to give them a chance and use smart weapons to kill them around corners, etc. level of playground.

Now with the "blood mage" mechanic, you can light up a full room of guys in one go and laugh as they burn down screaming about Haxxorz!

Good times.
But I feel like a change up.

is it 1 ram per 1hp?
No, but focus slows down time while you're hacking so you pop it, hack to your limit, leave focus to stim, rinse repeat until everyone's a walking dead man or you're out of stims. Note that your hacks can also propagate to other targets...

Not sure what the exact conversion is but it basically turns your health bar into a ram bar.

use smart weapons to kill them around corners
did you try using lazor wire instead?

A little. I'm super not built for that though and I can upload hacks through smart weapons or monowire. Since I'm not level capped though and can fill every cyber slot, I could change this up within my existing build to continue to be a cannon, but remove the "glass" part so I can do a non-stealth monowire thing too if I wanted to. Just strikes me that that would be even more God mode than I already am.

If you haven't, try getting a strength club build going. My early play results suggest it's hilarious in the same way, nevermind that berserk augs literally make you immortal while they're popped.

The game is awesome.

That doesn't happen.
Netwatch agents puts a virus into you, which gives Netwatch a backdoor into VDB's network. When Netwatch invades during your meeting with Alt, Alt blows up the entire Agwe subnet and kills all the VDBs to cut off the Netwatch's attempt at attacking her.
So he makes Alt kill the VBs. Cool, even more based.
98% of the comment was subsequently deleted due to me losing control again.
It's all good now.

I wish there was more Netwatch action. Back when the hype was hinting at factions, it seemed like they might be a faction you could support. That would have been cool. Fuck AI :)

Well, what am I saying, it would have been cool if there were factions at all lol. Make Maelstrom great again!

I got a call from Hands informing me that I've got Netwatch hitmen set after me, as a consequence of how I resolved one gig. I haven't played much since then but let's see.

The escorting of the two cops was a really dumb gig though, might as well have cut it entirely.
it was supposed to be a comedic relief, I can see what they tried to do but delivery was lacking. Basically mini guy ritchie episode.
Not sure how did you resolve that one, if you go pacifist you just laugh and walk out
This brings me back to a point I've made a number of times for these hundreds of pages - the biggest issue preventing this game from being a competent interactive movie is the decision to skimp on the work needed for conversations to take place in third person, like in Deus Ex, or Witcher. You can't have a good interactive movie if you only have one camera and one perspective. The player needs to see his characters face and body language. The player is not good at selecting the best camera angle. A Guy Ritchie comedy as well as many other genres simply can't work if shot with a go-pro.

too abstract for me. First Id need to see version with better dialogs and voice over(female v one doesnt fit at all). Granted VO folks often get minimal input on their lines so its hard to hold them accountable.
Also lacked at least one wtf event in the middle while sneaking through.
Then maybe id see issue with camera angles

This could be really glorious quest with extra love.

BD scrolling quest could be good too, but actual scrolling scene was such a let down, like watching middle schoolers getting their hands on camera for the first time. Raised my hopes from how that quest was shaping and turned meh yet again.

Just imagine the conversations as they are but with the camera switching perspective as in Witcher 3.

Funny, I liked the female V VO more than the male. Seems more mature. I think the dialogues' writing needs editing for more brevity, they should sound more like a real conversation, it would make it better suited for the first person perspective.

Netrunning is extremely boring because you have very little input in a fight, it's all about the build work you put in beforehand. Also the only cool skills to use are Suicide and Detonate Grenade but their novely wears off really fast. Try a gunslinger or stealth or any sort of melee build, it's a lot more engaging.

Yeah, I just wanted to set one up because I hadn't really tried it much yet. My original run had int 3.

I wouldn't say it's boring, it's just very OP once you get it rolling. Definitely a different experience than other builds.

That's why I stopped quickhacking entirely and decided to reserve silent netrunner with maxxed out int and cool build for my second playthrough.

This will be a female V this time. And she'll definitely fuck Judy.

wanted to provide update on my question in past about katana and red skulls with hmg. Indeed expose weakness makes huge difference.
Or wpn glitch or blindness.

Projectile blocking with reflect stuns them which is even better.
In general projectile reflection is unfun, but took me a while to realize that.
it was after i had encounter with firing squad behind the corner and me resolving it by coming in sight with blocking and hiding repeatedly, until everyone was dead from their own bullets

I guess when it comes to fun, I enjoyed most knife throwing. One thing Im missing though is joining it with melee. You have perk for it but there is no reason to slash even in close quarters.
Could use a mod to disable aim asist. Turned off aim assist for everything but knives are still homing.
Id really like to block with my knives

That's what I did the first time I played this back on version 1.6. Make her a corpo too (the female VA is perfect for it) and the character will really fit in well with the rest of the story.

yeah, though about giving her corpo past. Cold corpo bitch. My current male V has a punk background.

CDPR just laid off all of their diversity hires. I'm hearing that ESG is no more.
What's ESG?
A brand new conspiracy theory after the plandemic and the great replacement. Allegedly reason for which all modern games are bad - because they include women and black people.

You have to be a more specific, the above mentioned things were in games way before this.

It's Environmental and Social Corporate Governance. Basically a way of measuring a business for those who prefer investing in certain types of companies such as ones that pursue "green projects".

This apparently causes the decline of western civilization and men to cut their peepees off to hear the tales around here.
