Paradox registered domain cities2.com.

Probably announced at PDXCON next month.

I don't see it, it appears as a free domain.

EDIT: Nvm, i've found it, you are right.

I don't think they will announce it next month since they have still a planned DLC for CS1 they are working on.

and it eats ram like candy, not even chrome can hold a candle to it. just adding the most basic mandatory mods skyrockets ram usage past 8gb.

I haven't played this and see it's on sale. However it has 1 billion DLC so what version should I get or are any DLC worth it since its on sale?

Green Cities and Snowfall are useless, skip them.

Industries if you like micro managing industrial areas and factories

Parklife if you like micro managing parks like zoos, amusement parks, etc.

Natural Disaster only if you like stuff like earthquakes, meteors, etc and a bit of more challenge

Mass Transit and After Dark add core stuff so I recomend both

Campus only if you like micro manage a huge university

But at the end, try the core game first, if you don't like it the DLCs won't change your opinion.

Industries is a core part of the game because of the industrial overhaul which fucked generic industry. Having to import all your raw goods will fuck your traffic.

Yet another instance of a paradox published game ruining vanilla to get people to buy DLC.

If you're patient, wait for newCity to finish developing instead.

holy shit no, newcity is horrible. terribly gated, the first city builder with actual grind. hidden math, it's very hard to understand what's going to happen or even what's going on. but most of all, performance so crap that once you hit 50-60k pop the game halts. it doesn't slow down, it crashes and burns.

skylines true entity limit is 16k. anything past that is fudged. the foundation for newcity is already more performant than what cities skylines is capable of.

50-60k is not a literal number, it's only indicative. the number of moving entities on the map is like a thousandtime smaller, maybe even worse.
a 16k entities city in skylines is still a sprawling metropolis. a 60k pop city in newcity is barely a tiny town.

I really like Skylines, even if its full of ecohomo propaganda. And autism.

Can someone give me a pointer how to improve these intersections? They're already starting to clog up. I mean, I could just add more lanes but that will in turn lead to noise and... traffic lights. :negative:

Lol, this is not possible. Cars are not allowed in pedestrian roads, I bet you are using some mods that are screwing things

You're right, I was using Traffic Manager. Didn't know it screwed with the basic road functions.

As Cities: Skylines approaches #PDXCON Remixed, we see your messages and inquiries about future plans for the game and know that so many of you are excited about what’s to come.
So are we!

We can confirm that we are currently working on a project with Colossal Order, but it is still too early in development to share more information at this time.

Do tune-in during the event though, as we still have a surprise or two in store for the Cities: Skylines community... So keep sharing your stellar city builds, awesome assets, and amazing mods!
