Do these flies have a name? I saw the same thing in a Dragonlance comic.
They do not, unfortunately.Do these flies have a name

Is this... is this real? If this is an actual Dragonlance book, I think I should give that setting another chance.

TSR published an extensive quantity of gamebooks, combining CYOA (as with their Endless Quest line) with RPG elements. In 1987-9, they published four books in a new series called Catacombs Solo Quest, which were more complex, with greater RPG elements, and closer to a solo D&D/AD&D module. The second Catacombs book took place in the Dragonlance campaign setting, with a story about draconians mounting an invasion of Mt. Nevermind, home of the tinker gnomes. Is this... is this real? If this is an actual Dragonlance book, I think I should give that setting another chance.

I don't know what supposed edition of "Dungeons & Dragons" this cover was used for, but the artwork doesn't hold a candle to the original Trampier illustration:
4e. The logo, font, art style and Rob Heinsoo are dead giveaways, as are book titles that end in numbers; they published something like 3 PHBs alone.I don't know what supposed edition of "Dungeons & Dragons" this cover was used for
