Over at the codex, based on a post from some idiot named "bryce777" (I think I allowed this guy to beta test at the last minute, if you are "bryce777" please contact me via PM immediately) the Codexites are arguing over how the "Star Child" in Grimoire fighting against the half hybrid races to prepare for the alien invasion is in some way related to my neo-nazi army of gay Aryan supermen and it's ideology.
The problem is there is no "star child" in Grimoire, nor any alien races or a base to fortify against the invasion, nor any of the story elements mentioned by Bryce777, in fact it doesn't sound like he was a beta tester at all. The actual story in Grimoire has nothing at all to do with any of this.
Laughing
They read my comment over here on the News page and insisted I didn't know what my own game was about, then followed it up with forty posts analyzing the "Star Child" in context and how this was secretly Adolph Hitler and the hybrid gorilla races in this story were actually symbolic of my own repressed homosexuality and nazism.
Shocked
I swear to God, you could not make up a place as bizarre as the Codex. The people there are like a bunch of superpowered atomic losers, with secret loser powers not known to ordinary mortals. Their forum sounds like an assortment of pythonesque characters having a serious argument over how to pull the pin on the holy hand grenade. Laughing
You don't know whether to laugh or cry regarding the Codex idiots. It's a sad place where failed undersized male mammals apparently crawl off to die.
The "Star Child." The ancient alien races returning to fortify the base for the attack by the half human hybrids. "He'll probably change the story now that he knows the cat is out of the bag!" shrieked on poster. Surprised

(A guy I met briefly a couple years back when he was writing for Ahoy! magazine.) It is, however, better than 99% of all the previous roleplaying games ever published on the PC. That's the truth.
Yeah, but he wrote the duels in Monkey Island so he's kewl.Naked_Lunch said:Orson Scott Card can be a pretty shitty writer sometimes.

How can you evil Codexers do this to Cleve? Now you march right back there, apologise, and start posting nasty smelly pictures on his forums, so his site can get more hits.Comic Book Cleve said:They have not been back in a while to post more pictures of fat porn or aborted fetuses on the forum... ...It's a shame because the hit count on my site absolutely went through the roof.

Yes I did. Didn't you listen to Cleve? Rex got the boot because he's a hypocritical congoid. That was all only possible with thanks to the Exitiumpedia which I lovingly quoted with delicate care and precision. You're not going to buy into that theory that he got booted because he's just a complete tool are you? Pfft..Saint_Proverbius said:DarkUnderlord said:I effectively got Rex fired from the Codex!
No, you didn't.
