Ok, I can see where you coming from, there's an argument to be had over the later years getting overrun with dubious entries.Up to the early 2000s it's solid. But after that, especially after ~2005, it gets iffy. I read every entry and added all of them to the List of RPGs thread. 150+ is a stretch (my ~50%+ comment was exaggeration and mostly in relation to the Codex GOTY), but there's still a sizable minority that shouldn't have made it in and I'm not sure why (other than padding stats). There was one that even bordered on Loli. I'm willing to go through and make a list if anyone here is actually willing to discuss this instead of attacking a join date. It shouldn't take long, I just need to go through the games I skipped over making an entry for.I doubt you'd consider 150+ of the crpg book non-rpgs. Sure there are some blatant examples of such, but those are quite a minor fraction. Without an explicit list, it's empty words, or just a newfag trying to blend in.
Codex GOTY lists are a different story altogether that would take way too long to list out.
BTW, using hyperbole is a time-old codex tradition, which you seem to have a good command of, and so is attacking the join date, so no sweat.
