Is Meantime really something that's known outside of this forum? It's no Wasteland, and even its Kickstarter had to lean heavily on the Fallout brand.

Cue Kickstarter video of Fargo walking slowly and explaining, while pointing every word with a gesture, how this is the RPG they meant to make in the 80s, and its time has now come, followed by a few mega-interviews with magazines during the campaign and people will be interested.

Not that many people knew about the original Wasteland either.

This must be a trick.
Obviously, InXile are devellopping the next TES for Bethesda, so they can focus on Fallout 4 and an Arcanum sequel.

That's why he will call his next game Van Buren not "Meantime". While most people haven't heard about this game, quite a few heard about Van Buren. Van Buren has even it's own paragraph in the Fallout 3 article on Wikipedia. Besides the name everything will be different but throughout the internet people will remind other people this name's association with Fallout which will surely enrage Bethesda (but there will be nothing they can do about it).

This is the most possible, most realistic theory so far...

Perhaps inXile will make a Wasteland the lone Ranger: Van Buren game? Or a Torment: Meantime?

Infinitron or whoever else is in the know: Was there any significant surge in traffic to the Codex or its Twitter account, following the mentions in the media? Especially since some directly linked to the Twitter account or the post itself.

Some more gaming sites spread the word, mostly crediting us. We are now a respected gaming news source:
