Its funny cause he was clearly replying to me although it didn't come across that way.

But then you must add some more money for the transportation costs which DU would generate.

/Edit: Too slow.

I will start writing up the Wasteland 2 vision document this weekend.
Woah wait, he doesn't even have a vision document wrote up for this thing yet? Like a one or two page high level summary of the game design?

That shits for publishers, son! Vision is old hat. It's all about stream of consciousness design nowadays. :incline:

Howabout it, DU? is $12,500 enough to get you there?

Edit: In my original post I said VU which is a strange robot created by Richard Gariotte to carry the hybrid personalities of Dark Underlord and Vault Dweller into Stephen King's "The Mist". Consequently, I now have to forfeit all brofists... :(

I love me some Vault dweller, but he has a game to finish(which I will gladly buy). The godfather of the codex, Dark Underlord should go and represent all that is Codex

Should we reach the 10k benchmark, I say that we should send Chris Avellone as he is a) our (un)official Codex mascot anyway b) also based in California unlike DarkUnderlord who lives down under somewhere c) a experienced game developer with a history with Fargo already. Assuming that MCA would agree to document the entire thing in a proper way and wear a Codex t-shirt, of course.

I think what he said is that they have a decent portion of the story and dialogues written, but actual design hasn't really started yet.

Livestream on web should be worth it.

Maybe DU would be willing to pay his own transportation and stay if he's offered to party with Fargo? There's more than just games in California after all, it's a good place to vacation.

Anybody know when that party's taking place? Early stages of development, late... Maybe there's actually a date and I missed it?

I expect that at least it won't be until the kickstarter is over and Brian collects the cash for real.

Well it says 'Oct 2013' for time of delivery, so my guess would be some kind of celebration at the completion of the project?
