Meh. Not sure if that'll be worth for me to tag Stealth on Faythe or Myself to make that work. Since I want as many combat encounters as I can get for skill growth, plus combat is just more fun for me. Thus leaving me with little stealth. Seems like after Pit things are getting restricted. In Pit there's so many different ways to accomplish a quest irregardless of build; just choose one that's appropriate for you. Now we go from this open way of doing things to a restricted way, which is unwise, in my opinion.
I think it's more accurate to say that there are no restrictions on murderhobos in the Pit - pacifists can't sneak their way through the arena to talk to Harbinger and Knurl or sweet-talk the froggos into surrendering their brains to complete the mutation quest, after all. Having a small amount of content gated by skills/builds is hardly a new thing, though - it's like getting to the bottom of the Abyss in AoD.

So I don't follow the development of Colony Ship to avoid spoilers but where are we in terms of release date*? I seem to remember that originally, it was supposed to be released end of 2022.

* for the full version only, not early access.

That's assuming there won't be anymore delays with content delivery. The schedule is mostly a rough estimation of where the developers hope they'll finish in time. One thing is certain though. I don't think they're going to delay this for another year.

any way to edit the save file/console/whatever to give Faythe a tag on CS? I forgot stealth doesn't work without CS and now I'm stuck with my Faythe being unable to do the stealth sections because I tagged something else instead of CS. Not going to restart, so any fix?

You could wait until the update coming at the end of this month - when it releases, you will be able to upgrade her intelligence implant and raise her INT from 9 to 10, which will let you tag one more skill on her.

I've never tried it, but try cheat engine? There isn't a way to modify character tags after they're picked.
How are you supposed to find the variable to edit though? I guess you could pretty easily give yourself arbitrary CS xp (find a combat encounter, and have Faythe crit a few times to trigger xp gain), but giving yourself extra tags while already at 0 seems hard.
Or maybe its easy if you are good at cheat engine, which I am not.

Nice! Implants upgrades are coming next? And how do I fix the damaged stuff I keep finding?

its damaged because you didnt have enough bio to extract them properly. If there was 1 point difference, you can repair it with electronics from inventory screen(gives you electronic xp)

Lol saying that Age of Decadence is "edge". If anything the game was very tame for something inspired in Classic Antiquity.

The devs revealed Evans special feats and what'll trigger it. See spoilered:
"Let's get to it then," says Evans. "How do you want to play it?"

"I want you to cover us, so stay back and make your shots count."

Evans gain feat Defender: when in cover: +2 ballistic DR, ranged aimed attacks cost 2AP less.

"I want you with me, not hiding behind cover and worrying about getting shot. The more you worry, the more likely you're to get killed. You don't want that, do you?"

Evans gains feat Desperado: when not in cover: AP +2, +5 Initiative, +15 reaction.

End of Dec - Heart (the mutant town)
End of Feb - Hydroponics (Yellow and Red Zones), Mission Control (lower levels)
End of Apr - The Armory (level 3), Bridge and the end of chapter 3, all locations are done.
End of Jun - Endgame (chapter 4)”

So the Habitat...? A massive place with only a modest amount of stuff to do. I hope more side quests will be added later on. Kinda wished for another NPC companion too, a fourth pre-ECLSS companion would be nice. Jed's awful stat spread annoys me and I wish I could replace him sooner. Shuttle bay is fine, I guess, plenty of things happening there.

I still maintain that the game needs more easy fights in the very early game. NOT nerfing present fights, but rather adding new ones, thus allowing us to train Faythe in an environment in which she doesn't get insta gibbed.

Also, question: is recoil control implemented yet? I found no difference between a 4STR rifleman and a 8 STR one.

Yeah, the devs are aware of the problem and are planning to add more Habitat content in future updates. I think Jed's stats are workable - not *great*, and 7 CHA kind of locks you into taking Sarge as one of his feats to get any value from it, but he can be a decent meatshield once you give him a synthetic heart and a motor cortex.

Recoil control is implemented but needs to be rebalanced imo since the accuracy bonus from a point of PER outweighs the recoil-reducing effect of STR, so it's always better for a ranged character to put points into PER unless they want to take one of the STR-gated feats.

Was gonna EDIT but then nobody would read it: another question: is the extra XP from INT also applied to SP gained from skill usage or is it just character XP? Also, are weapon feats...kinda trap? Oh, and my pet peeve of the day:

Yes, we will be tweaking that in the systems update.
