The music is very nice to listen too as well.
I disagree here. I feel The Pit needs 1 more track. The music there can get repetitive. Although the track is great, it feels a bit overused.

Bros. I finally see what you mean about the teleportation. I'm at end game where I talk to the leaders on behalf of the monks and its boring. Click this, teleport there, click that, teleport over here, talk to this, teleport here, and so on. It's lame. The game isn't giving me any chance to breathe, to walk around a bit, process what's going on, digest the story bits, explore a bit to see the real time consequences of my actions similar to how I got to walk around at the return to Pit to see the consequences of Jonas v Braxton conflict; everything is happening so fucking fast I can't keep track of the events. It was already testing my patience at the armory shit where I pick dialogue, get teleported to the final showdown. Or the machine escort where I pick dialogue, teleport to next location, pick next dialogue, teleport to next location, etc, etc.

It's such a sudden change where the game abandoned that awesome free form exploration to this.

There is reason why begginging and middle updates were made with delayes, but last updates went fast and on time. Because there is so little content in them. Teleport-talk-teleport does not require a lot of time to develop, eh.

Either developers just ran out of money and wanted to wrap-up or they just did not bother to do proper endgame parts.

It is not about Ukraine or Palestine.
It is about calling out hypocrite. I do not like hypocrites. I like to call them out. So sometimes i do just that.

Disclaimer: Game being decline and me telling about it has nothing to do with one of developers hypocrisy. They will try "you racist" card because they cant answer arguements and facts.
/Spoiler The reason i call this game decline, because it is clear decline from DR and AoD.

I find it strange that writing commas in Colony Ship is very similar to what we do in my native language. I struggle with writing commas in English all the time. Before that, I felt that that English had some different, for me personally hard-to-grasp rules, often disregarding the presence of a new predicate and clause. Then again, it just might be my poor understanding.

A question for grammar savvies: Is Colony Ship's grammar on point? Can I revise my unhappy knowledge and learn from it?

I always thought commas were either taking a breath, or pause, mid sentence. Kind of similar to how we talk in real life. Grammar kind of mimics the intricacies of the spoken language. The other thing is I believed it's used to conjoin two sentences. As for Colony Ship, so far I haven't really seen any grammar related issues. You get typos and such but it reads fine for the most part. The important thing is that it reads like organic spoken which it does.

I'm not a grammar expert though. English isn't even my native tongue.

E.g. in the character screen it says 16 AP, green number, no debuff, in the worl'ds exploration screen it shows 14/16 AP.
That some patch, or some narratively-driven debuff, or what could've happened?

saw it too. In combat everything is fine, perhaps its number without armorer or something?

About combat changes in CS, why it is decline. And why discussed Evasion change in lenght.

In Dungeon rats: you had 3 main options for combat defence: 1. Evader with light/no armor. 2. Blocker with heavy armor. 3. (In full party only) "don sturdiest armor".
In Colony Ship there is only 1 defence tactic: Block skill was removed. Evasion downgraded so that you cant expect to avoid even moderate amount of hits. Optimal and only tactic is "don sturdiest armor" and (optional) add some Evasion (wont be enough to actually evade but very rarely enemies can decide to use more accurate&less dmging attacks on you).

This change (3 defence tactics for build down to 1) is not main reason why CS is decline, but it is good example of it.

I have been playing with a Blunt melee character 10/7/7/5/5/6 but now that I've gotten more experience with the combat, I think dumping Dex is actually the way to go on this build. Thinking through the different things that Dex affects...
  • AP: At Dex 5 you can do Double Strike + Fast attack with an AP6 weapon. Take Charger to get free movement each turn, or stack Reaction feats (Opportunist + True Grit) for free hits.
  • Evasion: Dex does nothing for a pure DR-based defense. Would probably need to take Armored Warfare to avoid AP penalties on heavy armor, and maybe Tough Bastard to add HP and reduce crit damage.
  • Initiative: Even at Dex 7 he is usually the last to act, so Dex 4 or 5 makes no difference. Acting later in the turn is fine because it means companions can Cripple opponents to offset penalties from Double Strike and Fast attack.
Thoughts? Thinking I might reroll as 10/7/5/6/6/6 and tag Blunt + Biotech so he can heal and rip out implants.

You ever get tired of repeating the same fail arguments? I'd be really tired if I was in your position, repeating redundant premises, ad nauseam, with no new points to expand upon. You usually want to pick up new points or find new shit to complain about. Anyways to address your crap. In Colony Ship you have way more opportunities to mitigate damage versus Dungeon Rats. For starters, you already mentioned the Damage Reduction Juggy build, so that's one point for Colony Ship. You also have Healing Factor Regen build. In Age of Decadence you had this ability to regenerate health but it was very minor and required a sacrifice to increase, even then it didn't really feel all that impactful. In Colony Ship this theme of regenerating health has been expanded upon into an a real choice for build. Healing Factor + Regen Mutation + Synthetic Heart + Regen Stim = an effective ability to immediately recover healths without needing to invest into any defensive stat. You sit there, eat damage, quaff down regen stim, and get all the HPs back. It's as easy as that. So this is a second point towards Colony Ship. Then you have the absurd initiative based builds that can act before the enemy even has a chance to react and completely kill them before you take damage, have AP refunded with Second Wind, repeat. You don't need to deal with damage if the enemy is dead. That's another point towards Colony Ship - we're at three so far. There's also the neat things you can do with Stealth Gadget in combat where you can completely avoid damage. We're at four points now. I can keep going but I tire.

Thoughts?
The reasoning is sound on paper. I'm currently running a similar build where I dumped Dex to 6 on my Healing Factor since he doesn't really need the AP, Initiative, or Evasion to eat damage. So far it doesn't really feel like the build is missing out on more Dex. Plus later I'll get implant for it and get a +2 for Dex and bonus AP movement from upgrade.

Beat the game, no problem. My character likes to get stuck in the geometry from time to time, but nothing game breaking.

It's not filling fully on combat end when you have some stat debuffs, but it fills on combat start. We'll tweak it =)
