This was 1977. They didn't spell everything out. Orcs were EVIL and VIOLENT creatures. Read the monster manual on them and half-orcs.Looking at AD&D 1E PHB there is no mention of rape or alignment restrictions. Looking at the Monster Manual (1977) there is no mention of rape under half-orcs.
And what are orcs? Lawful evil.Half-Orcs: As orcs will breed with anything, there are any number of unsavory mongrels with orcish blood, particularly orc-goblins, orchobgoblins, and orc-humans. Orcs cannot cross-breed with elves. Half-orcs tend to favor the orcish strain heavily, so such sorts are basically orcs although they can sometimes (10%) pass themselves off as true creatures of their other stock (goblins, hobgoblins, humans, etc.).
As I said, and you apparently failed to read, there are no alignment restrictions mentioned. You can be whatever kind of mary sue orc you want. But it doesn't change what they are, or what alignment they're drawn to because of that.
I only quoted that very passage from the manual to you, midwit. Do you want points for looking up something I already showed you and you failed to read? Are you sure you've read the rules for AD&D 1E moron?
I'm not misusing anything, and I didn't ask for your hamfisted summary of alignments. On that very page you and I both quoted, orcs are listed as LAWFUL EVIL, and half-orcs take after them. You're misusing evil as evidenced by your complete lack of knowledge on what AD&D called evil. Evil is the antithesis of good which is honest, forthright, and charitable. Thus, evil characters are stingy, liars, and secretive. Because they are lawful they believe in using the law to accomplish their goals and create societies that have laws that care not for justice. An innocent person is just as likely to be punished for a crime as the criminal. All the law cares for is that someone gets punished.
Not that I can break it down any better than Gygax himself, whom you apparently can't understand even if you quote him.
There's that chip on your shoulder again. Really doubting you fought off those bullies as a kid. More likely you were the one taking swirlies.Don't care since Tolkien isn't involved in this conversation. You can shove that right up where the sun don't shine. Knowing you that you'll enjoy it.
Tolkien was involved from the moment I mentioned fantasy in general, but you wouldn't know that, since you ignored me like a bitch.
Because you're illiterate? You just quoted the same passage I did.You mean the description that doesn't appear in the AD&D 1E Monster Manuel or the PHB? I believe you're pulling from Not-D&D 3.x E on that.
The PDFs for 1E and 2E are sitting on a flash drive on my PC right now. I know of what I speak, but even if I were like you and didn't actually read them, I can copy and paste the same as the next man.
English is hard for you. Let me quote myself:There are no restrictions on alignment for player characters.
See, no restriction mentioned. Talk about a strawman. I never mentioned any such thing.Could the player be an exception? Could he be a super-special magic rocket scientist rape baby with a heart of gold? Maybe, but that sounds pretty lame and it'd just prove the rule.
Tit for that. We all know your MO by now, so don't be surprised if some of us insult you right back. We know you're not going to be reasonable and can't handle others disagreeing with you.Is that why you replied and insulted me like the child you are? Pot meet kettle.
If I'm on your ignore list, what difference does it make if I reply? You had to reply to me knowing that I have you on the stupid list. You just proven that you are indeed the dumbest motherfucker in the valley.
Cope and seethe. And I really don't care if a man who can barely read what he copy/pastes thinks I'm dumb.
