What's the VTOL mission? When you jump out of the plane?
You played it on normal of course it was easy, try a harder difficulty. But you can just win the game by shooting everything, or super punch everything. But then it is super boring... You can stealth past people but it is a waste of time. The powers in general were generally pointless because the game was so easy anyway.

These definitely improve the visuals a lot. Barely saw any pop-in with them, and it makes the original game an easy win overall versus the remaster. However they also dropped my minimum framerate from 75 to 50, so I don't think I'll be using them. Maybe something in the middle between the default and yours, but I like as much fps as I can get on a 144hz monitor.
Fucking lack of CPU usage!
Are there any notable content mods for Crysis 1 ?
Anyway, minimum of 50 FPS for Crysis 1 seems fine to me, I'm used to having lower than that. But I guess that's what you did to yourself by going 144hz.
What exactly does change when you upgrade to 144 Hz ? Does it look more fluid or something ?Anyway, minimum of 50 FPS for Crysis 1 seems fine to me, I'm used to having lower than that. But I guess that's what you did to yourself by going 144hz.
Yes.
If I can get it to a locked 60 that'll be good enough I guess. I do notice drops to 50, even with g-sync. It's just hard to turn down 100fps once you get used to it. Definitely a warning for people looking to upgrade, you'll love 144hz and then go through this every time a game breaks above 60 or is otherwise limited.

It does , look a lot more fluid, but 144 fps is unattainable on ultra on latest popamoles , sadly even in 1080p .What exactly does change when you upgrade to 144 Hz ? Only gameplay change I kinda like is having an instant cloak on and cloak off key, makes it easier to uncloak, headshot a guy and then cloak again. I wonder if there's a mod for that for the original.
Suit shortcuts don't do it for you?
Suit shortcuts don't do it for you?
It's fine. Once you get used to the mouse menu it's pretty easy to "flick" back and forth too. Just not quite as ultra smooth as pressing q, popping the guy, and pressing q again. Just pointing out the one tiny little cookie I can give them.
Mouse menu? I'm talking about suit shortcuts you can enable in options. Double tap crouch or prone to for cloak, double tap jump or melee for strength, double tap sprint for speed, double tap backwards for armor.
I knew what you meant. There's a "too" in there to indicate both are fine, but neither is as easy and fast as hitting q twice.
Join Alex Battaglia for the definitive tech review of Crysis Remastered on PC - a game that elevates and modernises much of the original game's technology, but at a cost of poor performance on today's CPUs... and some legacy tech debt from Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 that we really shouldn't see on a PC game.
