If they want to release it in 2019, I'm pretty sure they'll have some gameplay to show. It's more likely they'll show something that looks spectacular, all the normies and jurnos'll get hyped. Then 3 months before release CDPR will realise they lack the skills to make it work with all the systems in, because they let all their best specialists go in order to reduce costs. They'll have to rewrite the whole engine which will push the release date back six months and the end result will look nothing like the E3 2018 demo. There'll be "Downgrade!" cry all over the Internet for a while, but then CDPR will release 15 clothing DLCs for free and all will be good.

But this is factually wrong, even more after Strange New Things purchase they acquired really great talent. And the core CDPR team in Warsaw is pretty much the same as it was when Cyberpunk was announced. Mostly all the Leads and department directors who are making all creative decisions are the same.

I would love for a game to treat 1st person modeling and 3rd person modeling the same.

Like what Star Citizen is doing?

this shit is way too funny

Too bad TotalBiscuit has good chances to not see the day of the launch because of his illness...

I want to see my character`s boobs too. What bothers me in mirrors edge and many other games that they show only legs, like the characters eyes would be on the chest/abdomen. Well in mirror`s edge case, you would not see any boobs anyway as she is flat as earth.
It should not be hard as Tribes 2 did full body firstperson view like 16 years ago.
Yeah. I believe this is an artifact of the perceived necessity to hold your arms rigidly in front of you at all times to display your equipped weapons. If you were able to look down at your body and see yourself doing that it would look idiotic. I would love for a game to treat 1st person modeling and 3rd person modeling the same. I can always glance down at my hands if I forget what I'm holding!

The first game to do full body modeling will be groundbreaking* and I don't expect C2077 to be the first. Having feet goes back to at least 2004 though, unacceptable to not even do that much.

*I do know about Trespasser but somehow it didn't catch on and that ground has frozen over again in the meantime.
Would be hilarious if it's another cinematic trailer and zero gameplay shown.

I am fairly certain that you could see almost your entire character model in Dark Messiah if you bothered to look down.

CDPR Allegedly Hosting an Hour-Long Cyberpunk 2077 E3 2018 Presentation – Rumor
By Aernout, May 8

CD Projekt Red will allegedly be hosting an hour-long Cyberpunk 2077 E3 2018 presentation for the press. At least, that’s what Everyeye.it Editor in Chief Francesco Fossetti claims on Facebook, who wrote to have booked an appointment with the Polish developer for an hour-long presentation at this year’s E3 event. A screenshot of his Facebook post has been included below.

Whether this is true remains to be seen at this point, but last month the official E3 website confirmed that CD Projekt Red will be showcasing a PlayStation 4/Xbox One/PC RPG, most likely referring to Cyberpunk 2077.

Earlier this year we already reported on a rumor about the presence of the RPG at this year’s E3 event, with a trailer reportedly being shown off. In addition, a behind-closed-doors demo is said to be playable at the event. As always, we will update as soon as we learn more about this matter.

Cyberpunk 2077 has been in development for quite some time. Back in 2011, CD Projekt Red announced to be working on a new project, which was revealed to be a “Triple A” title based on Mike Pondsmith’s Cyberpunk RPG system a year later.

Freedom of action and diversity in gameplay will be delivered thanks to the sandbox nature of the game and mechanics inspired by the “Cyberpunk 2020” pen-and-paper system, fine tuned to meet the requirements of a modern RPG.

Gameplay will pump adrenaline through players’ veins and be consistent with the celebrated Cyberpunk spirit – rebellion, style, edge, uncertainty. And of course, a cyberpunk reality cannot be deprived of murderous steel – guns, rifles, implants, dozens of gadgets and other varied pieces of equipment needed to survive on the streets of Night City. The developers are focused on making the technology of 2077 credible and exciting.

“The Team has to love the material”, CD Projekt Red said in 2012. “The Team has to want to be faithful to the material. The Team has to have the skills to execute the material and see that vision through to the end. They have to be on fire with the desire to make an extraordinary game.”

38 Hilariously Bad Skills From Cyberpunk 2020 You Won't Find In Cyberpunk 2077
One of the more noticeable trends in modern pen-and-paper games is the move away from gigantic skill lists. Many are often redundant, obsolete or so specific, a more general skill would be a better pick. Cyberpunk 2020, the tabletop RPG upon which CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 is based, has over 80 skills. Eight-zero. So, when "Personal Grooming" and "Play Instrument" are mixed in with "Submachinegun" and "Pilot", one has to wonder: what skills will CD Projekt Red dispense with to keep 2077's gameplay nice and streamlined?

It will probably be even more streamlined than W3, with only 4 skills that you can max them all out even before the middle of the game (breaking the whole experience and killing any kind of replay value the game could have).
Shooting, Sneaking, Talking and SCIENCE!!! (that encompasses stuff like hacking, repairing and medicine).

I've played the CP2020 pnp for 25+ years, the last 22 with in-house and ad-hoc rules added. My favorite attribute: COOL - noting exemplifies the spirit of Gibson et al. better than it. Also, wardrobe&style + personal grooming are manifestations of an attempt to put the 80s aesthetics of CP movement into the pnp. They are by no means 'hilariously bad' - in pnp.

What has never occurred to me though, is the following:

Motorcycle
You can easily pack this into Driving and save yourself a skill slot.

I know how to drive, but I have absolutely 0 experience in motorcycles -I have no idea how the driving would translate to riding a motorbike.

Read closer, the author of this article clears wants CP 2077 to be dumb-dumb loot'n'shoot game a-la Fallout 4. He doesn't want to lose precious XP points (it's not like CDPR can do a backflip and introduce learn by doing skill leveling up, riiiight) on those pesky useless and trap options.

Leftards. Dictating others what to do ever since time began.

This was the teaser supposedly

http://videos.alfabetajuega.com/201805/cyberpunk_traile_e3.mp4

Some people claim it is fake so... decide for yourselves

It is fake.
It is mix of two CB2077 trailers. 1st teaser they ever released and that recruitment CGI.

Though i must say i loved 1st one despite being like seconds short.

Also based just on this announcement Perturbator made some cool music (which later was reedited with new CGI trailer).

Speaking of which i wonder who will be making music for CB2077, In one of the comments one of devs said they were pitching project to DaftPunk but people were saying people like Perturbator would fit much much better.
