I hope there are many little immersive sim interactions. With the genital customization I imagine they'll want to show it off with a detailed and polished pissing animation. I hope there aren't too many restrictions that would get in the way of proper roleplay.

The irony.

Although Cyberpunk 2077 will not be censored in Australia, it appears that the Japanese version of CD Projket Red’s upcoming blockbuster will be quite different to others.

The news comes from Press Start, who recently published a report on the Cyberpunk 2077 Japan version.

According to the report, the Japanese version will receive a significant amount of changes. Characters that would be naked in the ordinary version will now be wearing underwear and some of the content deemed to be sexually explicit has been revised. Severing body parts has also been revised, as has the amount of gore in combat. On top of this, all billboards and graffiti shaped as genitalia have been removed from the game.

At present, those are the only details known about the Japanese version of Cyberpunk 2077 – it appears they are primarily revisions for instances of sex and violence in the game, and in some cases complete removals of said instances.

In related news, Cyberpunk 2077 was recently delayed and will now launch on November 19, 2020 for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia.

If you’re curious, here’s 25 minutes of unedited Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay. We also found out how Cyberpunk replaces multiple-choice backstories with life-path origins, and spent four hours playing a hands-on demo.

On top of that, we’ve spotted some pretty cool details that were showcased during the Night City Wire event last week. My favourite was probably the fact that Judy Alvarez, leader of the Mox gang, has a Radiohead tattoo – although I still think the most important Cyberpunk news to have come to light so far is that you can pet the cat in Cyberpunk 2077.

Meanwhile, fans of The Witcher 3 are so excited that they’re designing fan art visualizing what Witcher characters could hypothetically look like if they were made using the Cyberpunk 2077 character creator. Here’s a look at cyberpunky Geralt, and here’s a look at cyberpunky Ciri.

But why? I always thought Japan is a sexually open society?

Japan is sexually open in some ways, for example there are titty mags openly displayed in pretty much all conbinis, not even on a high rack or anything, and if you ask girls what they think of them they'll probably say they don't mind them at all.

But then in other ways they aren't, for example the pixellation of dicks in porn, the no public displays of affection, and so on.

So it's a weird dichotomy. Although I have to point out that I did PDAs with my (Japanese) girlfriends in Japan all the time and never saw so much as a disapproving look. (Though that doesn't necessarily mean people around us didn't disapprove, just means they didn't call us out on it, probably they thought we were the downfall of Japanese society)

Going on a tangent slightly here but did you know that even parents and their kids generally don't hug each other or have much physical contact at all, that baffled me honestly. I'm like wait you don't even hug your mother?

I had a dream that I just woke up from where I was playing CP2077 and I went to buy an upgrade for my car but I couldn't remember what I wanted so I started checking my smart phone. And then the corpo girl who was selling me the upgrades started tonguing both my ears at once.

Some other fucked up stuff happened in the dream but that's the funniest thing

They were afraid of the gaijin smash but they were absolutely horrified to see one of their women with a disgusting 野蛮人

I hope we all get a good surprise and this game actually has a fairly advanced point system. Judging off Witcher 3 this should have a good story/choices, but even if this RPG is "true" Codexers are still gonna hate on it, because RPGs need to have clunky controls, basic graphics and zero mainstream appeal.

I think we can all agree that wapanese sex culture isn't a healthy one.

Yeah no shit.

Loving couples holding hands and kissing truly are such outraging attacks on public decency...

But public libraries filled with shittons of hentai mags, street vending machines selling girls used panties for creeps to sniff on and High school/University girls prostituting themselves to fat, old salaryman farts (as long as they doen't get fucked in the pussy) are totally legit!
