"Wait. CP77 has just been a marketing tool to hype Nvidia's next generation video cards and never actually a game the public will actually play?"
"Always has been."

these video are not even funny. they're just... sad.
Reeves is awful narrator. Hey, Keanu, have you heard about emotions? About not being bland as fuck?

These videos are not that funny because Reeves sounds like he's gonna fall asleep at any moment.
I like him but he does feel like a male Kristen Stewart at times, with less constipation.

My team has the sexiest and deadliest waifus you can recruit.
Keanu has a very narrow range, but is pretty good within that range. Also, there's a long, proud lineage of ok-to-decent actors sucking in video game performances.

we have the game ready on the PC and it plays great on both next-gen consoles. We’re finalizing the process on the current gen. To be honest, releasing on the 19th was possible as well,
All because the greedy kikes couldn't just leave the last gen garbage toasters for later.

It's pretty telling that there's a big push to get all versions out simultaneously. Word of mouth is going to be unkind at best and Last Jedi slapfighting at worst.

Don't be a tinfoil. There are probably contractual obligations that no platform should be lagging. And even if by some chance there aren't, it would be grounds on which the platform producer would sue CDPR. Can't risk the hypothetical scenario of someone buying a rival platform because of the game not being available on his shitty platform.

Consoles are detrimental to everyone.

Except that, in theory, Sony and Microsoft would want people to upgrade to PS5 / XBSX rather than stick to PS4 / XBone respectively, so why have a version available on those platforms at all if this hypothetical is even a consideration? "Hey, have Cyberpunk on PS4, we don't care if you buy our new $500 console or not." Just not seeing it, man.

Because different segments of a market (segments within the consumers) behave differently:
https://www.khanacademy.org/economics-finance-domain/microeconomics/choices-opp-cost-tutorial

In short, people have calculated, through research, that some segments of the consumers would buy the game on PS4 but would not be convinced to buy a PS5 because of the game. If the game is not offered on PS4 some sales wouldn't be made which would otherwise be made.

Like some people would buy 2EUR lower quality tomatoes, but wouldn't buy 4EUR tomatoes regardless of the quality improvement. Therefore as a producer you are interested in filling different price segments in order to satisfy demand across different price/quality positions.

Well that must be it, then. In retrospect, it is pretty silly to speculate that a publisher would want to maximize profits before any potential backlash.

Then what stops CDPR from releasing whatever they have done for PS4/X1 port in Nov. 19? Sure doesn't stop Ubisoft from not giving a fuck about lastgen ports.

Can't really answer for CDPR, I'm just guessing based on conventional knowledge. BTW wasn't the Witcher 3 EE the work of one guy, and the rest is just small additions or incorporations of other mods.

What do you mean, the PS4 versions of Valhalla and Legion run fine with ~30fps like most games on the console.
