So why were people hyped for this game again? I'm glad I kept my expectations low.

I never expected the systems to be good, but their previous game was at least a very competent AAA game with fine character performances and such.
The quality of CP seems notably below that right now...

Although the streamer is doing a main quest against arasaka now and so far it seems an improvement over what came before.

They lost some of their best writers but they have the guy with the notebook filled with scramblings. We'll see how it pans out.

He's doing the Johnny Silverhand arasaka tower mission from the past now.
Silverhand's pistol kills on headshot. So weird seeing that after the previous stuff of enemies taking 50 headshots without flinching.

Dude, it's the future. Every product and item has built in nano-machines with legs that makes it look like stuff glide, but in fact they are walking from person to person.

Game just glitching the fuck out now after we're back with V in a car chase scene.
Missing gun model, then it reappears, bullet sponges, weird animations, missing gun sounds suddenly when a arm-blade guy attacks... What the fuck ever.

Edit: Attackers were cyborgs it seems, so sponginess was somewhat ok. Can really see it after the chase ends.
Bullet impacts also caused sparks.


I just hope there's some guns or ammo that work better on these dudes... Right now it just looks like pure dps-armor value bs.

On the upside, the story seems suitably cp2020'ish, I guess. Thicc Black Dude and Jackie both dead in this particular game though.
Maybe different on other paths or there were choices I missed because the stream changed sites repeatedly.
