Those values can be adjusted.

They had extreme level scaling (as in, enemies a few levels above you were almost impervious to your damage because it got scaled down or armor scaled up stupidly based on level difference, not raw stats) in tw 3 as well, they love that shit.
This is simply much worse than that as normal enemies are already too resilient, and the lack of hitstagger or any kind of reaction at all isn't helping.

I think you're being a bit optimistic here given CDPR's track record when it comes to combat... I'm personally hoping that the game will be easy to mod.

Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Codex Year of the Donut Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
By the way, if the game is this buggy and glitchy, all these journos have been lying as usual. Don't think even one mention it was buggy or had technical issues. The only slight negative I remember reading that the driving was merely okay - but I guess when a games journo says it's okay it means it will be shit. 11/10 driving in this case would mean it is okay.

I'm a storyfag, so there's that. I don't really care about the combat as long as it is serviceable.
I'm also one of the few 'dexers who actually enjoyed playing TW3 on Death March (which suffered from just as bad HP bloat), so there's that.

You mean the ones you face during the early main missions with the guns you find before and during the missions?
Not very likely now, is it?

Only other possibility is that he was playing on a higher difficulty intended to be used after gearing and leveling the character...

I'm referring to the clip a few posts up with the big guy punching the player. The quality is kind of ass, but that's a "red skull" icon above its head, right?

Didn't catch the clip, I watched a long stream and it was all bullet sponges without any red skulls except for a certain section.

Well story seems ok to me, so you're in luck there.

Combat seems like a chore, but if you liked DM you'll have more tolerance for it than I do. I prefer reasonable lethality (both ways) and a proper challenge coming from how well the enemies fight (these ones are braindead and there is literally no encounter design).

I thought I remembered a number of them talking about it being a buggy mess, but maybe my memory is playing tricks on me.

The recent one? They had a 14 hour preview or something for a lots of journos and (may Allah forgive me for using this word) influencers.

I'm at the point where it's not even the glitches (as funny as they are) ticking me off more than the bullet sponge in general.

I already saw it coming back in 2019 given the "color coded" weapons and armor a la Witcher 3 but at least with swords it's a bit easier to believe given the more fantastical stuff of the series. The player is pumping fucking lead into this random thug like no tomorrow and only takes off half his health.

edit: then he found a T-posing NPC in a gas station in the desert, punched her and a full police squad spawned behind the station. No fun allowed, indeed.

He made a CHOICE and that lead to a CONSEQUENCE, Clockwork Knight! That is TEXTBOOK C&C and THAT is why Cyberpunk 2077 (available now for preorder on all digital outlets except Ouya) is going to be felipepepe 's RPG CODEX GAME OF THE YEAR 2020-2021.

Law enforcement is supposed to be unsympathetic and corrupt in a typical cyberpunk setting anyway. Only the corporats and swanks get any kind of meaningful police protection. Cyberpunk 20XX (which originated in the 1980s as a tabletop RPG, as I hope most of us know) is thoroughly generic, so there should be no surprises on that front.
The police would probably open fire on a rampaging psycho on the way to a high score because even a shitty city needs some minimal stability. The issue is more how they spawn out of thin air, probably based on a wanted level since punching the T-poser was enough to spawn a full squad.

The stream got shutdown on 4 different platforms so I dont know if they saved it or not.

https://www.mobcrush.com/carlos2077/v/5fcd86879dd6db2f0e5303d5

This was the last stream, if you go to the end you can see he's online playing on ps5, it would force him to download the patch. pic related proves that the patch has been released

>Cyberpunk 2077 has received a sizable patch ahead of its launch next week. With some retail copies of the game out in the wild, those who are already playing say there's a 43.5GB update to download, and it looks like there could be more to come.

>Yesterday, YouTuber DreamcastGuy, who claims to have a review copy of the game, uploaded a picture to Twitter stating that "Cyberpunk 2077 has a 43GB day one patch," sharing a screenshot that says "Cyberpunk 2077 needs an update. The size of the update is around 43.5GB."

Not that anon but On stream it said version 1.02. He had the patch the bugs are embarrassing literally a bug every 5 min ranging from tposes, floating enemies ,random deaths, invincible npcs, floating vehicles, bad pop in where barriers wouldn't spawn until he had already hit them . It's a shame cause the game looked kind of cool but I definitely won't be purchasing this unfinished mess

Ps5 is the PS4 version running through backwards compatibility. It will be plagued by the same low memory and shitty CPU issues.
The PC version is going to be fine.

The need for console parity won't mean it'll be ugly unoptimized crap at all. No sir.
