Good luck buying every AAA entry. You're the reason why gaming industry 10 years ago became total crap.

"Oh, I want to support developers" :outrage:
"Oh, I can't wait, preordered!" :outrage:
"This is going to be great!" :outrage:

It's funny that you're trying to be an edgelord and yet you think gaming has turned to shit only 10 years ago. Really funny, actually.

I'm talking about AAA. 10 years ago PS2 big titles were good.

There's nothing about edgelord. I'm just telling the truth. Yet you try to defend the ones like yourself

Don't be dull. This game is the safest preorder for people who have enjoyed DS1 and DS2 (and most people have). It is well-known what the gameplay is going to be fundamentally, with the technical competency of porting as proven by DS2.

As a true Dark Souls patriot, I've pre-ordered and pre-loaded this. Now to find some time to actually play it...

This weekend, I spent more than 12 hours actually working on stuff that I would have to do in the following days... I am ready.

Less than 24 hours, fuckers!!

Do those hints scribbled on the ground in DS games sometimes stop you from interacting with other stuff? The number of times I've read "secret door ahead" right in front of a wall but of course can't interact with the wall because of the scribbling in front of it...

Don't you need to just hit the illusionary wall with a weapon, though? The hints shouldn't interfere with that. I played both DS1 and DS2 a long time after their original release, so they were full of hints basically telling me what to do, especially when it came to progression order and revealing secrets. Hope that playing DS3 early will mitigate this somewhat (since not many people will know where the secrets are, there'll be plenty of fake messages that haven't been downvoted enough, etc).

Random aside: I wonder how keyboard+mouse support will turn out in this iteration. DS1 with the fixes was playable as a caster but hilariously bad as a backstabber, and DS2 was two steps forward - three steps back with better overall responsiveness but a terrible control concept that made basically no use of the mouse's strengths at all and felt even more clumsy than (modded) DS1.

In DS2 you had to hit the button to read messages to open doors. That being said, I never had a message interfere with a door. If you think it is, it is likely because you are being trolled and there is no illusory wall there. I prefer the hit the wall for a hidden location so I'm glad they are bringing that back.

IIRC there are a few illusionary walls in DS2 you have to hit to get through. Or were those just the Pharros doors?

Usually, shops in my area don't care for release dates and put it on shelves days before. Ofcourse with DS3, they do care. FFS!

Wonder if there's any chance at all of it releasing a little early.
