Demon protagonist RPGs

There is a certain lack of rpgs where you play as a demon, i really wonder why? The Christian scare of the 90s is long gone and they are such a cool concept. I only remember games with strategy mechanics like Disgaea or Hack and Slash games like DMC that have them in the main role.
Did you guys know any Rpgs that have a Demon MC, or at least lets you play as one?

Western RPGs in general are missing Christian religious elements and imagery, which is a shame because JRPGs use them to great effect.

Wrath of the Righteous will have a demon mythic path. I haven't really followed Owlcat news recently, so not sure how much of a game-changer these paths will be. Fingers crossed that we can overthrow and replace demon lords.

You can play succubus in King's Bounty: Dark Side.

Can't name second game without spoiling its story, lol. In
Dark Messiah
you play half-demon protagonist. The story is not very good though, so you might as well look what's under the spoiler button.

Sacred has a demoness character class (added in expansion IIRC). She can slightly break the game by flying over water obstacles and skip the entire questlines/areas other classes must complete

So many answers and noone mentioned Bound by Flame yet?

It's an action rpg by Spiders. Very ambitious, if somewhat hampered by inadequate budget.

Your PC was possessed by a demon. Now the interesting thing is you can choose whether you keep your humanity or succumb to demonic possession, receiving new powers (and a new look - when horns grow on your head you may no longer use a helmets etc).

Demonic path is easier, because you get stronger. But by choosing it you cut yourself off from certain endings.

I guess the reason we don't have many demonic MCs (at least in proper/good cRPGs) may be that demons are inherently more powerful than mortals, and that would be tough to implement story and gameplay wise. Unless you go for some bullshit like 'oh noes, the antagonist stripped you of all your powers and you start as a weakling, slowly regaining your true potential'.

Imagine lvl 1 demon MC having trouble with rats in the sewers or goblins with rusty daggers, that would be fucking hilarious.

Not really a rpg, more like an action-adventure hybrid with few rpg elements, but Dark Earth is also great.

Your PC was infected with a poison that slowly changes him into a demonic monster. You can try to slow the process or embrace it (risking premature ending of the game, but gaining new powers). You also investigate who and why did this to you, ways to avert the process, and along the way save your city state (or let it fall into eternal darkness). Great story and fun gameplay.

Dark Half for the SNES, I guess?

you control two characters, both the hero and the villain (possessed by a demon) alternating them in each chapter. The game didn't come out of Japan but it got fan-translated not long ago.

I don't think I had ever heard of that game. It looks interesting. Is it any good?
