They did use an Amazon from the movie.

That was before she became a Hollywood Satanist.

I checked out the online video, but I can't judge based off of just that. I played many hours of Diablo 2, but after finding out after the fact about the botched Warcraft 3 remaster I can't get behind this remaster. Release and dump all support seems to be the current method with Blizzard except for the World of Warcraft franchise.

This is being done by Vicarious Visions, not Blizzard.

I wish they would dump the source code and assets of D1. That would be glorious.

I just don't see a reason to bother with this remaster. Warcraft 3 remaster was botched, so why would this be any different?

I never understood why Blizzard never made extra content for these too. An Act VI would be the cherry on the top. Maybe a new class too.

Really excited for this but it's gonna be real weird going back to chugging mana potions as a Barbarian.

I found barbarian and paladin boring due to always having low hit chance. Necromancer for me :)

I don't think the Assassin and the Druid are the best designed classes. Something feels off about them, especially the Druid. I normally love playing druids, but this one is extremely bizarre and patchwork. So, new classes are a bit debatable.

The only reason I tolerated playing Diablo II was minion druid and skeleton necromancer, far from being the most OP builds but were fun to play by seeing your minions beat the shit out of monsters. Also, assassin traps were fun to use. I think they should have recieved a bit of buff as they were kinda weak on higher difficulties. The classes I enjoyed the least were the straight damage dealer classes.

Trapsins were quite strong from what I remember. Also isn't gear dependent which is nice. Kinda boring tho and obviously lacking in the appeal department unlike dru and especially necro.

My favorite build was a PVP minion druid with every minion buff one could have. I would sit at the edge of town and let my bear wreak everyone. Most people would die from a single hit, and the salt it generated was unprecedented. Good times.

i can't believe it. blizzard had the perfect opportunity to upstage vanillaware and make the amazon a cutie like one of the million overwatch girls. instead they made "her" a troon. god fucking damn.

Diablo 1 Tchernobog is pretty great right now with full support for online via zerotier. Playing it with friend atm. It is actually it much better state than D2 is. Support for arbitrary res and framerate, scroll wheel to zoominout. Yeah i remember fucking right, D1 was much more dark in tone.
