A lot darker too. I hope they realize dark UI =/= dark atmosphere, but who knows, people are idiots.

That filigree is so awesome.

It looks like you opened a medieval grimoire.

It’s interesting that none of the coverage remarks about the UI downgrade; this is even more egregious than what Beamdog did with the BG1 UI.

Wonder why it isn’t being covered..

The filigree in the original UI was used to cover up empty space in the game's fixed aspect ratio. "Resurrected" will support quite a few different aspect ratios, and they probably had trouble making the original work of art adapt to all of them, so they opted to remove it altogether and replace it with "scalable generic grimdark UI".

Christ, how can anyone watch this vile filth?

400

what the fuck am I looking at here

Extract of one of the big vtubers playing diablo 2 and reacting negatively to blizzard's prudishness.

Christ, how can anyone watch this vile filth?
Not really sure but this cancerous shit is getting quite popular on twitch, recently it seems like every fourth streamer uses this abomination...

Aren't most of them guys?

No idea for twitch but from sounds of it those are people trying to cash in on the next big trend. Vtubers really exploded these past few months thanks to corona and hololive (one of the big virtual youtuber companies) releasing an english branch (to which kiara from vid belongs to), one of which, gawr gura, broke all sorts of records and more or less became mainstream. The market is fertile and demand is high, so don't expect this to die out any time soon.

And whilst I doubt there are many guys larping (at least for the big vtuber companies like hololive where it would cause some real problems if half the cast were dudes irl) there have been slipups from indie vtubers and i'd expect twitch to be full of those.

Anyways won't continue going offtopic, didn't mean to kick off a discussion about vtubers.

Streaming a Technical Alpha version of a game resulted in choppy performance during the stream. Truly unprecedented and shocking, final game confirmed as shit.

This looks one of the best remasters to date. The same identical game with stunning 2021 graphics and QOL changes, it's everything a remaster should be.

Complaining about it at this point is just the typical codex way of seeking for attention, just like instagram 13 years old girls yelling about boys.
