I didn't read all 9 pages of this so it could already have been answered but what was anti-Allah in witcher 2?

They used prayer carpet as the textures in some carpets that were in a whorehouse.

And also typical of rabid muslims, you chose to go away instead of taking in the valid criticism, however vitriolic, and chose to slander those that you disagree with as "trolls" instead of facing the possibility that you might be wrong. How does that fit with any part of islam, now?
I think it fits quite well.

The really amusing thing is how this piece of shit must be under the impression that he's such a moderate and progressive muslim, being a gamer and "respectfully" interacting and socialising with non-muslims and all. And yet, the truth speaks for itself. He's so full of himself, his vindication and happily rolling about in his own puddle of ignorance, he doesn't notice he's actually one of those muslims who give islam a bad name.

Yeah dude, you, in all your civilised manner of conduct, are demonstrating the stereotypical image of the rabid and intolerant mentality of muslims to a T. Some do it with hateful protests. Some do it with violence. And some, like yourself, do it with covert assertation. And I know there are muslims who'd look at you and give a worried sigh at your uppity attitude.

And also typical of rabid muslims, you chose to go away instead of taking in the valid criticism, however vitriolic, and chose to slander those that you disagree with as "trolls" instead of facing the possibility that you might be wrong. How does that fit with any part of islam, now? See, it's partially the cowards like you that makes the rest of us so vitriolic towards you.

edit: does anybody else cringe when they see muslims talking in English (or other, non-islam-oriented languages) and using Arabic words like "inshallah" when there are perfectly fine synonyms in the language they are speaking? Annoys the shit out of me. It sounds more like a cult of culture than anything. And islam *is* a culture, not just a religion.

My conversations with Muslim Cab Drivers (MCD) usually end up being this way:

(somehow we arrive to a religious topic)
MCD: I practice Islam. You know, people misunderstand Islam-
Me: I'm not explicitly a religious person, but I believe that most religions generally seek the same things-
MCD: I AGREE!
Me: Really?
MCD: Yes.
Me: Cool.
MCD: There is only one God, after all.
Me: Sure. And all religions are just different ways in which mankind understands-
MCD: That's what Islam teaches, you know. That there's only one true God.
Me: Uhm...
MCD: Did you know that Mohammed and Jesus were besties?
Me: Such claims don't really matter to me-
MCD: Let me teach you how to say "God is great" in our language.

I share your pain, brother. I'm a Satanist and they are offending my Lord since the first game. It's disgusting and shouldn't be allowed to continue.

My interest in D3 has diminished when I learned that the trademark town portals are gone, and they eliminated the need to sell items in town. In order to get to town, you activate a thingy from WoW, basically, and you have to do it while nobody's around to interrupt you.

I've only read about it, and haven't seen it in action, but it really sounds like one of the worst decisions one could possibly make here. For the following reasons:

1) Going to town and "getting to do stuff" there provided a much needed break to the non-stop action. It added atmosphere. Reducing the time you spend in towns doesn't make sense. Diablo isn't a Michael Bay movie. Pacing matters. Also, how do they reconcile unidentified items with this? Do you summon Deckard Cain to the dungeon to identify them before you decide whether to sell?

2) In Diablo 2 there was this feeling of "if I get in trouble, I can escape through a town portal - if I am not separated from it by a pack of enemies". No more of that, apparently.

3) If there are no town portals, you can't be the savior of your entire party in situation from 2). Yes, I was always the paranoid portal guy who had a disproportionate amount of portals on hand and cast them at the slighest sign of danger (i.e. electric monsters and whatnot). I was the "get off my b-back" guy from Screamers, and I LIKED it that way, damnit!

Town Portals are gone. We found them to be a crippling combat exploit. We found that while they had some cooperative uses, they tended to split players up a lot. As soon as players wanted to go back to town they did, and then they had to figure out how to get back to their party. We don’t want players to ever be split up.

But the big thing is that Town Portals were a combat exploit. When players can essentially portal out of any situation, it makes it almost impossible for the designers to create a game that’s challenging and compelling, or a world that you’re really immersed in. To replace the need for town portals we’ve added salvaging and we have a couple of other systems that we haven’t shown yet that help with that. The goal is for you to not really miss them.

O RLY? Is that some kind of weird self-defeating statement about Diablo 2 being a failure? For a failure I sure had a ton of fun with it at the time, and it is one of the best-selling games of all time.

Y'know, maybe if you want D3 to have atmosphere, you should start with revamping your "Unreal 1 colored lighting" level design and graphics fidelity. Take some tips from Path of Exile perhaps?

Also, there's no "tetris" inventory anymore. Scroo youuuuuu Blizzzaaarrrddd

Now someone buy the license to that engine (D3 engine would work too, for that matter. I don't mind the cartoonishness) and develop some delicious isometric TB crpgs.

just to mention that there are true muslims as well.. and we are not all retarded..
Please. Not the One True Scotsman argument. We already know that all Muslims can't be as thick as muslimgamer. But don't say that s/he isn't a 'true' Muslim. Stupidity bears no particular allegience to any one sex, nationality, religion, caste or creed--just look at General Discussion for proof of this. If every act of stupidity merited instant excommunication, I suspect that all religions would be severely diminished in the number of their adherents.
