Guys please tell me more about the deep and totally internally consistent lore of the Diablo franchise.

The "DEEP LORE" for Diablo isn't too bad. It's obviously low-brow but it exists.

The franchise lore as a whole went derp after D2. Signs of derp are even already present in LoD. But it was pretty decent and consistent between D1 and D2.

Yeah I was initially thinking D2 was where things went to shit, but on reflecting on it it's only in the expansion that it starts to get silly and all emblematic of Warcraft's Twisting Nether/Super Epikk retcon. The original D2 campaign is actually very solid.

So, rogues, or murderers and thieves as they're called in the trailer, are niggers by default?

Wow

Very offensive

You say "offensive."

The only religion that was objectively bad was the one Lazarus belonged to, but that religion was founded by Baal, Diablo and Mephisto as a way to con humanity.

Is this some new lore from the more recent titles? Last I heard Zakarum was slowly corrupted by Mephisto *after* he was entombed under their temple-city.

Wasn't diablo contained in a bone/blood/flesh wall prison only opened by levers? In fact it took like 4 of them on lvl 16 or w/e. Hell, there were a lot of locked stairways. Yeah, diablo could bust that open I guess. As to why he was enclosed seems uh... odd. Why not just trot into town and kill everyone? Nope! He just sits in his cubby having an orgie with possessed knights and succubi. Ok...

He only managed to complete his possession of Albrecht's body mere hours before facing off with the main character.

It was actually refreshing to see a new take on the Necromancer, presenting them as guardians of balance instead of the usual "me so evil I can make skelletons dance tehehehe!".

Diablo 2 remaster is the aesthetically Diablo 3 and 4 we'll never have.

Yeah I was saying this on the Youtube trailer, it's actually kind of funny the only way we get something remotely close to good art choices in a modern game is when they slavishly try to copy something from 20 years ago. Anything entirely new sucks by default.

No skinny, pasty white ass bitch, but an ethnic and vigorous warrior. That's exciting.
Do you even see yourself type?
He's an based anti-racist ottoman.
Man, this thread is being ruined by petty racist fucks. Again. I suppose they just don't like playing games anymore...
So disappointing he uses a white supremacist dog-whistle like calling BAME people ethnic which is not okay and completely Eurocentric. Even turks must make an effort to fight their whiteness. Morgoth send me a DM and I will give you free classes on how to be a better ally and fight your privilege and hate.

The more I think about the rogue reveal cinematic trailer, the more fuckin retarded and disney shallow shit it resembles (same as the D4 game reveal afterall)

They say they want to make D4 more gritty, dark, grounded in reality.

Imagine instead if the trailer having the same first seconds but when the rogue appears, it's a character nearly broken, filled with doubt and despair, haunted by the violence and dehumanizing way of life, clinging for her last remnants of humanity.

And instead by bragging like a retard spewing nonsense like in the trailer, it expresses regret, doubt and asking the priest if she ever has a possibility toward redemption and a more normal way of life.

But instead the priest is the one who manipulates her in continuing down her path because he needs to exploit her services evermore, proving the priest to be a more sinister, insidious and menacing character even if he doesn't have the killing abilities of the rogue.
In a total antithesis of what he should represent as a clergyman.

And as the rogue departs to fulfill another contract, the tragedy of the rogue's story is revealed.
It would've been in the same tone with Marius story from Diablo 2.

If there's a single lesson to be learned from Diablo 3 pre-release it's being cognizant of the fact EVERYTHING is subject change. I still remember when actual skill trees were supposed to be in the game, for example. Means I might as well not really pay any attention to when they're saying and showing off mechanically about Diablo 4.

Not sure this has been posted yet but here is some more gameplay.

Watching those wooden structures collapse time and again I got an idea on how add new elements to the core gameplay. Steal verticality and maybe environmental manipulation from D:OS, and adapt it sensibly for the ARPG formula. Then make those neat obstacles more sturdy, so you can use them as chokepoints, or destroy them. Then add a real jump functionality in order to make use of verticality. This would turn these corridors into battlefields that reward tactics, which is what this genre needs imo.

Anyway, graphics look nice. Can't say much about the rest.

That about sums up the vid. Its the same shit with the vid dethroning the lich king. You're seeing this in all media and games. Feminazi, BLM, Chinky pooh, and muslim me-too Forced Cultural Shift in all media and entertainment. Its not just forced but trying to shame other cultures and perspectives.

BLIZZARD TUBE

Don't matter. I don't have access to this new skynet internet to even dl it much less play it. I won't be missing anything it seems.

Generally, and this has been a rule since what... Diablo II was announced... you should simply ignore any and all pre-release material by Blizzard, since it can have nothing to do with the actual product? Remember the original Diablo II trailer? Or the many systems that WoW: Cataclysm was supposed to introduce? Remember how StarCraft II was supposed to have a non-linear campaign with different endings, and the various NPCs serving as angels/devils on your shoulder?
