Nothing like a bunch of awkward second person directives to keep you in the game, eh?

Odd decision.

awkward how?

"Go away, boy"
vs
*Tell boy to go away. You've never liked childen.*

The second version is like some bizarre voice in my head directing my actions. It's distracting, not immersive.

It's just plain weird.

*Comment on his appearance. He seems strange*

*PARTY DIALOG GOES HERE*

*Express your desire to be a dragon*

Etc.

Also what is up with the black cat that follows you? And then the priest douchebags that shoot it on sight when you get near their gate?

Pretty sure top-down view was in the original release.
Was not. Also you couldn't rotate the view through 360° until a patch gave you the option to turn it on in a menu making it even more frustrating. Probably the only thing I really hated about that game.

Well that and the final boss fight.

I haven't played DOS 2 yet, is it now an obvious UI button for that? In 1/EE it was an obscure keybind, I guess a lot of people might have missed it.

Okay, well it was definitely there in EE, I recall using it to target annoying stuff. I don't remember for the first release of DOS.

DarkUnderlord I won my brofists fair and square, I'd like them now.
Fair and square? Fuck off m8, that's not how bets work. You don't just say I bet x and claim victory before anyone accepts or has a chance to check their facts.

Otherwise, I bet you a billion dollars (US) that the sun will rise somewhere in the world tomorrow. I'll be back to collect my billion dollars which I won fair and square.

Ugh, the new composer is such a fucking generic hack, it's simply unbearable. After Pokrovsky's brilliance, it's simply impossible to stomach this shit. Sure, Kirill is a tough figure to replace, but surely they could've done better than that. European neoclassic scene is pretty solid and, as the Revenant's distant experience shows to us, they can be quite willing to work in the games. So yeah, they could've gone to Ronny Moorings or they could've gone to, say, Peter Bjargo. To some actually talented people, not this shit.

He should be trialed by DU for attempted brofist fraud

Yeah exactly, I feel like Théoden.

Damnit. Is it really that bad?

I really hope there's a way to mod in the old music.
