Might be interesting to play as a slowly-becoming-Faint. Memory, personality, slowly diminishing...

If they execute it properly, it could be one of the more interesting choices. The idea of playing as an Undead that is slowly losing his mind, his purpose, and his memories sounds fantastic. Now let MCA write it and we're good.

D:OS was 2014 so I guess you mean PoE was the best game this decade.

Swen is still hedging his bets on the possiblity that they won't be implemented
When Swen was talking about D:OS 2 in videos , he stated numerous times that the game heavily focuses on roleplaying and C&C . What if we tell him that no romances means less roleplaying and less choices for players ? As for me I'm more interested in sexism and racism and hope to see a lot of it in D:OS 2 .

Indeed. You'd think that a man who has a few dozen people obsessively following his every move would have perfect body control by now.

Implying these weren't intentional messages to be deciphered by his stalkers.

Is there any benefit to kick starting this? Its going to be made and I don't want to pay over 100$ for physical stuff. I will probably just wait until they have it on sale. Other than supporting the devs and making the game bigger and better I don't see what you get by kick starting over just buying it later

The full game is cheaper than release price (well sure I don't know how much it's going to cost but it sure as hell won't be 26 €) and you get alpha and beta access.
edit: plus contributing for the likely MCA stretch goal

But not cheaper than waiting a year for a sale. In addition; the final fully patched version will be at least 6 months after release. I dont care mich about the MCA goal. I have a huge backlog and little free time now for games anyway.

No new info on the composer as far as I know.

The idea is that it's cheaper to KS it now than to buy it on release. But if you're going to wait a year for a sale or don't care about the stretch goals, then obviously there's no reason for you to pledge.

(Swen here)

@ Stabbey: Lots of good points. Skill cooldown is something we'll be looking at in detail & it's certainly worth considering not linking it to the primary stats. Regarding the single-player - we probably did some miscommunication by focussing so heavily on the competitive (but obviously we're proud of it as it's something new), given the amount of worry out there & here. We're a bit surprised by that because we're very well aware that the majority of our players play our games in single player, and we though it'd be evident that we'd be stupid to ignore that. On the contrary - a lot of our effort is aimed at improving the single-player, definitely on the inter-party front. I hope that we'll be able to show you an update in the coming weeks that shows this.

@ Sirlach: We're no big fans of putting exclusive content in the game and instead prefer that if we add something, it's there for everybody who plays the game.
@ Keith Foo: From the get-go, the idea was to have equal hubs like Cyseal in the beginning, middle and end of D:OS 2. I can't look into the future of course so I don't know what will happen as production reality hits us.
@ phishmonger: We still need to create it so it's hard to give specifics, but the idea is that all of the lore that we've created to make the world of D:OS 2 goes in there i.e. the same stuff we're using to ensure everything remains consistent. There's quite a bit of it and It goes from things like a race's physiology & how they handle crime all the way to their attitude to other cultures or their sexual mores.
