I mean, aggro? :/
Depends if they actually made an "aggro" mechanic or if they simply say "aggro" as vernacular meaning that "X has the enemy's attention." I mean they simply summoned a hulking Ice Elemental between them and the enemy - in many games the AI would switch their attention to the Elemental without a MMO-like "aggro" mechanic.

RPG Watch is a cesspool.

(though launching because of a fucking RPG Watch article is mother-effing stupidity liquified)

Yes it boggles the mind... Sven must have panicked.

This kickstarter:

Oh god what a screwup. :retarded: Should have asked Brian Fargo and/or the Codex for advice.

Imagine if Brian had launched the Torment KS when Roguey discovered his trademark.

The pitch wasn't bad. I almost pledged, but lazied out. Even if KS fails - the editor and modders will fix the lack of extra content. Besides, i don't think 400.000 will make major difference, they probably hope for more.

Common Sven, you should had allowed the wallets of the people regrowth those, green, nice dollar notes before harvest them again. Farmer Fargo already had made this month harvest. A little more and I'm going to die of starvation.

Let's hope the pledges increase when journalists finally catch-up on the news. (as it happened with double fine on a larger scale).

Somehow it didn't look like it in the video. :/

But apart from that (well, and the underwhelming Kickstarter campaign start) there's little to worry about.

Oh fuck...I'm broke. I mean I could afford the 25 tier if I sold my ass, but I really want this game in a box. And right now $65+12 is too much for me. Especially, that it just feels stupid to get the boxed European game shipped from US, when I'm pretty sure I'll be able to get it in Europe...and for much less. I really don't knew what to do...there just couldn't be a worse moment for this kickstarter from my perspective...:(

Anyway, did someone go over to Watch and tell them that they are now all obligated to pledge at least $100? An I mean every single user registered there (apart from Codex guys, who are there jus to wage a subversive war aginst them).

I don't understand. They value RPGWatch's traffic so much that it was worth prematurely launching the Kickstarter campaign? What the fuck? I can't wrap my head around this, especially since he says they have 70+ previews/news posts queued up for the KS campaign.

What a blunder. Waiting another week or two and launching when they planned to would have probably got them a lot more money.

Well..well. Unfortunate start in a way but... hell that looks great.

Visually and mechanically. Look at those sweeeeeeeet areas and locations man. and Turn based. And mechanics explained straight!
No bullshit and flirting with popamole retards.

The probability of transferring half a pledge from Torment to this seems very high for me.

I know people are saying the tiers aren't great but I thought the $65 digital tier was pretty decent. 2 copies of Original Sin, a copy of Dragon Commander with development vids, went for that.

The problem is that there's no good "cheapo" tier.

For instance, lowering the intelligence of an enemy with a curse spell, will cause it to walk into pools of lava (uttering words like "look, how shiny").

Or if you lower an enemy's dexterity, it has a much higher chance of falling down when it crosses an ice surface, forcing it to skip its next turn.

- you'll also have to use your own brain and find out that, for instance, greedy enemies are attracted to gold drops on the battlefield.

:hmmm:

40 K now. Seems like it will do just fine.

Well it might not matter in the end. The rush could happen in a few days and it would just be a small mistake no cares about. Still, they definitely went with the low wisdom selection here.

I still can't believe the reason for the premature Kickstarter....
