The AR/AD divide makes no sense. They are both identified as just different methods of counting years ("We ave switched from AR to AD"), but AR is counting down. WTF?
True, AR makes sense post-history, but during the history, it doesn't make sense that the "ancient people" would have counted downwards.

Gotta say that I thought it would be one of those slightly awkward videos of the whole company singing and making jokes... not sure if incline or decline...

So... in the update, it seems to imply Zandalor has been alive for at least a thousand or so years. So... he's Maxos (in some capacity), right?

Seems like someone just bought into "the jailer" tier.
No, that's been there since the first couple of days.
I see. I saw there was a sudden $5k jump in pledges and thought that to be the case.
It seems like the $150 'Name a Pet' category has been popular, now nearly 75% gone. (although it might be the alpha access + kickstarter box & cloth map which is the factor here rather than naming the pet).

One of the computer enemies in Dragon Commander was named Zandalor in one of the Videos as well.

I chose that initially too, but had to reduce to $95 when moving to PayPal, due to lack of funds. No alpha/beta access for me. :(

There is a 20$ add on for Beta access via Kickstarter (I don't know if there is an option for PayPal though).

That is because Farhang always comes up with the weirdest default nicknames so we took "normal" ones...

Not at the moment.
I'm hoping for a backer store later, similar to what inXile does for Wasteland 2 (and will do for Torment), but the release schedule might be too tight for that.

But you could find Maxos' grave in Divinity 2.

The grave signed "-M"?

I'm not thinking it's 100% him so much as it's some kind of doppleganger/copy/projection of his. Like his will to continue guiding the human world along despite his larger self having abstained from the human world.

Besides, I always thought Maxos didn't die so much as he abdicated from the world in search of greater knowledge and power.
