Piconye is big and he has the greatest amount of Globals I've ever seen in any game, ever. Apparently at war with Ulm (?) that's big as fuck
Flegra is finishing off the Succubi AI, also it's not small at all, I'd almost say it's as big if not bigger than Feminie/Gath
Agartha has almost finished Incest Fish AI and started a war with Feminie out of Throne disagreements, but it's the smallest nation around
Gath and Feminie have been locked in eternal war, they're both mid-to-big sized from what I see

That's the first time in my entire career that I have even seen a Chayot deployed. That's, following Dom Inspector, 222 gems on a Conj9 spell. Someone can give me the recap of the battle and how the hell it managed to find itself surrounded by imps and draconians?

But a Ulmish vampire going toe to toe with a Chayot and winning is worthy of a metal cover tho.

I did some checking (pardon, I've never used a Chayot outside of playtesting) and .... I have no idea what happened without seeing it. Chayots are shapechangers, they should not function as Elementals that have a fixed HP and different wounded forms. You should have got progressively the lower HP versions, if you didn't get one-shot by something fierce or soul-slayed.

Also, how many people here know exactly how Cataclysm works? We're like 8 turns from it, it's a peculiar experience.

Yea same, never seen Chayots before - always summoned Seraphs via wish (the national spells aren't worth it). Now that you can't wish for them I wouldn't waste gems, probably.

But happy to see other players are having fun while I failed expanding (three thrones in close proximity and heat + rivers) and am locked in eternal war with VILE ANTI SEMITES of Femine.

My Blood Marshall, with a flambeau and lifelong protection, was having a light stroll on Pyconie land with its draconian friends when the Chayot and its Ophan retinue magic-phased onto them.
A long a stupid dance of draconian started, taking their turn to get burned by the angels while the vampire was casting his usual anti-PD spells.
He then joined the party, killed one or two Ophan (another got pecked to death by the draconians) before coming for a manly chat with the Chayot. He landed like 4 30 damages hit for almost none taken and that was the end of it, his eyes blinded by the death vengeance of his opponent.

By paper and prayers, you mean grounded ozelotls and recruitable giant thugs with regen and enlarged. Harmonica golem is one-of-a-kind. I have no ability to make a real stack that can face his with acceptable attrition. Seriously, if I did not at least drag him down into a pointless deadlock, Malakal could easily run away with the game. Ok, I messed up a whole lot and the timing was still too late, Malakal had an Imprisoned but man.

Me and Hag decided to have an honorabru scuffle, seeing how the cataclysm is fast approaching, and we shared a border. I might have it wrong, but a guy in a pub once told me that when horrors take over a throne prov they destroy the throne, which decreases the amount of points needed for a win, so I think we both wanted to bump our chances by trying to take one or two more. For now a lot of blood got spilled for minimal gains on either side; I thought I had a leg up due to my fairly robust eco (despite heavy raiding from Ulm's side), but seeing how the bloodsucking bastard now banged my armies up by summoning Horrors without a care in the world, I'm getting increasingly worried. I'll post a more comprehensive AAR after the game, and would be keen to see Hag 's one as well.

Globals were dispelled by my oldest enemy: me. I mentioned that I was super out of it for the last few weeks (I only went from software into strategic consulting for exit opportunities, and boy, was it not the best idea) so I've done stupid things like sending elemental aristocracy maintaining some of my globals into the grinder.

That is correct, but the % chance of destroying a Throne varies if the Throne is forted, it's like.... 40% depending on the Doom Horror you get. Bar Scabiel-chan that will destroy your fort and fuck your Throne 100% of the times, gently.
