So I ragequit after losing against the Gladiator and don't think I'll be be going back any time soon. Between him and the Marauder there isn't anything smart about their design or how you engage them in combat.
I enjoyed the early stages of the game the most. There was a nice pace and flow to the game going against the easier enemies and cruising through the levels. The Arachnid? and Pinkies are examples of a well designed foe that cause you to adapt intuitively. Some of the later demons are on some bullshit.
This is the FPS version of Sekiro, except the enemies in the latter are all designed with a lot more craft and finesse. If I'm in the mood for a mechanically challenging game I know which one I'll choose...

I remember that. The game made him feel insecure about his mild deformity or something. Journalists really are the worst specimens of humanity wherever you find them.Rage 2 made some nonce at Polygon with a cleft-lip mad, so it's reputation is fine. The gunplay in Rage 2 was very good as well, much better than Doom Eternal in my opinion. Sadly most other things about that game sucked, so it has a horrible rep. I'd still take it over this though.
